@Ginnaboots ,,, Hope work went well? And did you get to relax? Today I decided on a mostly laid back day. We need that of course. It'll recharge us!! WOOHOO to THAT!! The hike yesterday sounds so good!! Do you do stretching on your non hiking days? Sure hope the pain is doable. I did get in 45 mins of exercise, it was with cleaning and a tiny bit of walking.

@Catwmncat ,,, That tuna looks good and so does the rest of it!! WTG! WEIRDLY the change of time has never bothered me. I do not mind in the fall it gets darker sooner, actually, I DO ENJOY that now. I used to HATE it, but I figured out all of the positives of it (colder, darker, more apt to cook!). LOL I DID RUN late today, but it wasnt from the time change. @Dianedoessmiles1 I normally enjoy all seasons, but is has been cold (for here), rainy, and very windy since the Fall. Odd weather. So I am ready for the Spring lol.

Good Morning Airport Friends:
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Monday again and we are back at it for the week. I feel a lot better rested than I have in the last couple of days so that is good. At least I should not be so tired today at work. I have a lot to do at work I am sure since I left early on Friday. No one helps me keep up with my job while I am gone so it just piles up.
@LindieMaeP - Love the photos. Nice to know there is a carriage ride there. That is a different type of carriage than I am use to seeing and it looks cool.
@ginnaboots - I am genuinely excited for my wedding. I had honestly given up hope that I would ever find love again and the Joe and I reconnected last year.

@CSEGUIN2 - I hope you get them in time for your class to start. I had that happen once or twice. I did not get the material in time to start the class. It put me behind a bit.

Good morning everyone!
Diane-yes I stretch every day. It is a must for me to keep me on the trails. Years ago I had hip problems from all the hiking the past 25 years, so I seen a chiropractor. He got me all lined up again and never had to return to him because I found some awesome stretching videos online and they have helped me keep my hip in place. I feel fantastic now. My back was bothering me some last Wednesday and I was able to work it out Thursday and was back on to hiking Friday. I swear by stretching.

@jeanhickokhaley1 ,,, where are you? Cold and icky describe so many areas this year. It's been so STRANGE to see all that's happening in CA and other areas of the US and of course around the world also. Are you seeing signs of Spring? I am in Maine,, LOL NO SPRING yet, but a nice noreaster tomorrow!! WOOHOO!! I ADORE SNOW and COLD and totally DREAD the winter!! I am in the Right state! LOL LOL @Catwmncat is a wild, crazy, but very very loved and cared about member. We are THRILLED to have her on the PS4L team with us as our WL/BH.
@Tabatha_Cain,, WOOHOO on being well rested!!! So sorry though about the lack of help when out. GLAD you are feeling better!
@Patti241,, hope you were able to get to the post office. I wanted to go to the grocery store/pharmacy. I didn't really want to go until 1 PM, but my friend wanted to go at 11:30 we did. I am glad we did, it's DONE!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!
@Ginnaboots,, same here!! THANKS to my Dr's /PT workers, and yes YOUTUBE LOL where I found so many wonderful stretches, my pain went from a 10 to mostly 1's now and rarely, but nicely 0. Stretching makes such a huge difference in pain relief. Ohhhhh Did you see we are expecting MORE SNOW tomorrow? Maine is no longer in drought. NOT AT all in any part of the state. LOVING that! Tomorrow we are being told 5 to 10"s by the station I prefer to listen to, by the one that's usually a tad bit more accurate 10 to 14". i am really fine with 6. It'll be heavy snow, which is great for snowmen, but not clear off the car easily. I did back into our space. That'll make it easier in the long run.

@Dianedoessmiles1 I live in Palmdale (Antelope Valley/High Desert). We get freezing temps now and then, but the freezing temps have remained since last Fall. We warmed up to the 40's (F) for a few days, then it will be back down to freezing temps again early am. The wild flowers haven't bloomed here yet, but south of me they bloomed early. It really has been a crazy year weather wise.

@Dianedoessmiles1 I don't really mind the time changes after the body and mind adjust. They keep talking about keeping DST year round in Florida but that would be so confusing if the other states don't do it as well. It is hard enough to keep track of time zones let alone some states on DST and some not.

@jeanhickokhaley1 OH MAN!! I'd LOVE someday to see the flowers bloom there. I am pretty sure it's GORGEOUS to the max!! Stunning!! You are so fortunate! Any pics you'd like to share, WOOHOO!!! LOL Tomorrow NO DOUBT I'll be putting up a few of the snow. It'll be a day storm (Starting some at 4 AM but not picking up until 11 AM through 7 PM) perfect daylight time! The wind no doubts we'd rather do without at 40 to 50 MPH. With the snow, some will lose electricity. We haven't lost it so far this year, they must of fixed the lines which we are grateful for. I do though live outside of Portland (Maine LOL THE FIRST Portland here) in a city close by. I'm so fortunate.2

Good Evening Everyone!
Snow all day again but no work as it's not sticking to sidewalks. Completed all exercise, studied, did laundry and dishes. Also organized one of my kitchen cabinets and played cards with Hubby. Heard back from school. It was delivered on February 24 according to the tracking number. I was home that day when it was apparently delivered. So I contacted Canada Post and was informed that since it has been more than 3 days since delivery the sender has to start the investigation with Canada Post. Messaged the school back and informed them of this. Waiting for a response.1 -
Just stopping by and saying Hi. Our granddaughter Daralyn and great grandson are here in Texas visiting her mother (our daughter Denyse). We are getting together on Thursday. Sending hugs and blessings. Here is a picture of Daralyn and Karson from last year.

I got to bed earlier and slept later than I ever do -- 10:00 I awoke. My fur babies let me sleep--the sweetie pies.
Today, I think I am one step closer to solving the computer problem. I finally made contact with the a tech who understands the problem and can fix it. I need to research a better internet server since ours is so slow. A whole new chapter. I kept my calories down but filled the calorie intake with empty calories--a delicious brownie and peanut butter cookies.
Tomorrow's words are Courage and Gratitude.

@CSEGUIN2 - Same here. It snowed but nothing stuck. There was no extra on our cars or anything.

@tjharleygal55 -Oh my goodness...that picture is beautiful! I love, love winter. What state are you in that you are getting that much snow? I live in Michigan and we haven't got nearly that much and it is going to start melting tomorrow.

Good morning everyone, sure hope you are enjoying your day and having a blast at what ever you have planned. I am going to go do some exercises in a bit and maybe burn a few calories that I had too many of yesterday !!!
@ginnaboots love the picture not only the sun setting but the lighthouse ( at least I think it is, it could be something else) as well. One thing I dont' think I have in all my pics is a light house, think I might have to remedy that! I dont' know if I would want to live in one though, I do want a treehouse some day ... with butterfly bushes and what ever else I need to attract them. Is that building functioning or is it abandoned at this point?
@tjharleygal55 only @Dianedoessmiles1 would think that all that snow is pretty - at some point, one gets tired of it, I know I would lol

Good Evening Everyone!
Today is sunny but cold. Last night it snowed so I had a dusting to clean and then salt as it was a little icy underneath. That was around 8 am and my fingers froze even with gloves on. Oh well more money in my pocket. Went to TOPS. Gained 3.5 lbs. I know where the struggles were and am working on fixing it. Also today I also had a moment of being honest with myself. You see when Hubby hurt his hand I was using it as an excuse not to play Wii sports and march. He was willing to play the whole time with the opposite hand. Well that excuse stopped today and we played. Felt good to do that instead of playing cards. I need the extra exercise as we're partying at our friends Thursday for her heaven bound Hubby's birthday, and Friday for St. Patrick's day. Also got word from school that they have started the investigation with Canada Post. Otherwise I have no clue what's going to happen with my course. Waiting for a response about that.1 -

@Dianedoessmiles1 this year should be spectacular due to all the rain. I will post a pic from 2019. That year was beautiful as well. It really is breath taking. It looks cold where you live.

Love all the comments on the snow and the gentle razzing of snow lovers. It's been so cold here the last couple of days that I miss February's weather. Go figure.
Still working out computer issues today but made some more headway. Yeah!
As I was walking back to my cottage this evening, the pear blossoms were none the worse from last night's cold weather and today's. The word that came to mind is
RESILIENCY.

@Lindiemaep ,, in a tiny bit after I catch up on the chats (The wind is so wild I am just waiting to see if we maintain power, many around us are out) and I'll look out the window. I heard we now have some snow build up. Pretty pics!!
@Kurtize, indeed it's a choice, even on the worse of days. It's still a choice of what we will let our minds linger on. Not all days are great, on those unreal hard ones, we can still be grateful for something.
@Cseguin2 ,, NICE on the extra cash!! Hope they find the package!!! I hate gaining, with events I try to make it about the event, not the food. Ohhhh I am such a foodie!!! Seems like there's always something going on for all of us. Hopefully, soon things will settle for you.
