    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been sunny and beautiful. Woke up to a bit of snow and ice from overnight. So got a little snow removal in before TOPS. Gained 0.25 lb. I am okay with that as I expected it to be a bigger gain. If all goes well I will be back on track this week. After posting last night I received a text from my sister saying my Son has now tested positive. Praying our house stays COVID free. To be safe I wore a mask when I was out for my meeting. Don't want to infect anyone at TOPS if I can help it. But I still don't have symptoms. My energy seemed to be back today so did walking at TOPS and am doing step-ups every hour.

@ginnaboots: I'm in Missouri. Today it the was 53 and breezy.

@Dianedoessmiles1: I'm glad that the doctor is watching you closely; your kitties will help bring down blood pressure.

Today I got a lot of physical work done. I feel great and very tired. There were a lot of shrubs that needed to be picked up and hauled to a ravine--three mule loads. So glad that got done before the rain starts tonight. One load was a cedar full of pollen. The branches looked like they were smoking. I am hoping to get a photo sometime when a cedar tree is letting go of its pollen all at once. It is incredible.

    Tomorrow's word is courage.

@NovemberGail I've never even heard of a tree releasing pollen let alone seen it so I had to Google it (yep, that's my middle name... Catwmn Google Cat), Pretty cool but I bet it sure does affect those with allergies. Wednesday's word is perfect... Courage to accept what I can't change.

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

Well I just realized last night that this chat is now open so I am sorry I was MIA. I have read everything just don't have enough time to respond to every thing. I have been trying to catch up on my sleep and it does not seem to be going well. I am still tired a lot of the time. So I will have to figure something else out. Today is hump day. I got my invitation printed and my envelopes for them. Now I just have to wait for some addresses and then I can get them all sent out. I am still waiting on People's address. Isn't that weird. My Uncle lives in Tennessee and I never really send him letters. I will have to call my Mom and get his address. She will know it.

Well I hope you all have a great day.

The day is starting out with some rain so my work will be inside oiling the woodwork. The extra attention pays off because some of our cottages are over 20 years old and look like they were just built.

@Tabatha_Cain: Sorry that you are not getting enough shut eye. That makes for harder days. It must be getting exciting to be sending out the invitations soon. That makes everything so much more real, doesn't it?

@Catwmncat: The first time I saw a cedar releasing so much pollen, I thought something was on fire and thought of Moses' burning bush. Glad I didn't take off my shoes; I would have felt quite silly. And I am enjoying those muffins with my slim fast breakfast. They are so moist even right from the freezer.

@macrat12: Thanks for your inspiring words.

Good morning folks, it's shaping up to be a beautiful sunny day in Vancouver - I will be going out this morning and enjoying. I need to get a couple of errends done.
@Tabatha_Cain I thought perhaps you might be super busy and that was why you were not posting. I am sorry to hear you are not sleeping. I hope you can find a way to get a good night's sleep and feel refreshed when you wake up. Routine is important at least to me, I always shut off all my electronics in my room that shed light so that it is dark enough to sleep and I find that helps but not always. I also listen ot relaxing music before bed, to calm my mind. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not.
@NovemberGail rain is good, look what you get to do that others might not know or appreciate, but a sense of accomplishment is so worth it. I'll share my sun when I can but I am afraid the rain will be back!
The pictures below are of the False Creek area of Vancouver - there is a walk way all the way around. This is where the yearly dragon boat races occour and I am hoping to go this year to see them and get some good pictures. It's a pretty big event that takes place usually in June. Have a wonderful day everyone.

Good afternoon, happy mid week. Wishing you all a great day. Love all the photos. Another beautiful day. Today is cardio day.
@Dianedoessmiles1 I posted what I put on the news feed here I am not in the in-between challenge. Please anyone feel free to copy and add or change to fit yourself .

Today I will let go of discouragement. We have a tendency to get discouraged when we don't learn or are unable to do something that we think we should almost immediately. Most of us have some degree of perfectionism. We think we are able to do something precisely right away. An example learning to play the guitar and after a few lessons discouraged because we are not playing alike a rock star. Let's let go of discouragement and disrupt false expectations. Instead, let's try giving ourselves permission to make 5 mistakes before we take a break from something new. Many of us give up after 1 or 2 mistakes or failures. We get embarrassed by what we label as failure. But, it is not failure it is progress. Letting go of discouragement is about embracing our so-called failures because making mistakes means we are learning and growing. Affirm today: When I make mistakes, I'm making progress. From my 40 days of Letting Go Lenten devotional. This was right on for me because I have been discouraged with some of my health problems and not being able to do things I use too. At the beginning of the month I made a decision to keep trying and set some goals. This devotional today has helped me see I am making progress and not to give up because it isn't going as fast as I think it should.

    Hugs all

Diane-Hope the monitor gives some insight as to why the blood pressure going wonky. Yes the U.P is quite beautiful. I really should visit my sister and explore the hiking areas. I would have to go by myself though and I am not familiar with the area up there so I wouldn't like that. I am afraid of heights and do not like driving over the Mackinaw Bridge either. Last time I went up there, I had to pull over and let my sister drive...lol. I am fine at night because I can't see the water.

Tabatha-Hope you get some sleep. Since I am new to the chat I missed who is getting married. Are you or someone in your family?

NovemberGail- Yard work is so exhausting. It works muscles you never knew you had. lol.

Lindie-I love all of the pictures. You live in a beautiful area.

Just a quick stop by....I have to stop procrastinating and get my totals added up for our taxes. It really will probably only take a couple hours, but because I do not like doing it, I will hold it off until the very last minute. You'd think I'd learn year after year...lol.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been a sunny day! Today I got up and completed all my exercises, and studied. Also went to Walmart for new shoes and a few things for tomorrow's dinner. After lunch played a couple games of cards with Hubby. Still need to do dishes and laundry.

@Catwmncat ,, YUMMY food!! TY for posting.
@Tabatha_Cain ,, WOOHOO WELCOME BACK!! You were missed! Awesome on having the invatations. Did you know if you go to fastpeoplesearch.com you can look up addresses by using the person name you are looking for and the area they live in? It's mostly up to date though if someone doesn't stay long in a place it may not be, but it's pretty acurate.
    @Patti241 . ,, HI Patti!
@Novembergail ,,,I love doing such work as oiling wood, it's just so pretty and yes does look amazing.
@Lindiemaep ,, PRETTY pics. Some cities just look nice, or it could be that I am such a city gal!
@Kurtize ,, OH TY TY TY for posting it here!! There's so much wonderful truth in what you posted. Did you want to join us on the in between? It's very relaxed, and only ONE LTGL of our personal choice. We do ask that one picks an LTGL (It can be changed also I think it's weekly now) not to pick one that is to hard, but one that challenges us, but yet also leaves us feeling well. Mine is Declutter/Sparkle.
@Ginaboots,,, did you get the totals added up? Back when we mostly used the old calculator machines, I was so FAST on that, and accurate (worked in accounting) and I just LOVED the feeling of my fingers being OUT OF CONTROL FAST, yet in control. LOL!! TY TY TY TY I am so hoping it'll show something. I "think" It will based on the last time and this time. I learned from the last time be specific in a few words. OH GINNA I LOVE SUPER LOVED going across the Mackinaw Bridge!! LOL before crossing it using the bathroom should be mandatory!! THANKFULLY we had. Also thankfully traffic was moving both times we did so.
@BookieNJ,, LOVE IT!! Reading to me is better because my imagination fills in all of the surroundings, what people look like etc. etc. etc.

For the past 7 weeks we've been playing cribbage. Today we KNEW going into it only the top 8 would make it into the FINAL Tournament which is 3 games and if you lose any you are OUT!! I've WON this 2 times. The other players who didn't make it in have a choice to play against someone else for the fun of it, or watch the games going on. Food/water are always served. The winner walks away with 100.

I had been playing so BADLY up until last week, today with the last chance to qualify I DID SO!! I was SHOCKED!! But, I FINALLY have my groove back.

Next week the 8 of us start off even with each other. In the 1st game will be 4 games, of 2 players each. That'll keep 4 players who won the game ,, who will then play against each other. So 2 games /4 players, the 2 who win that game will go head to head to see who wins!! If you play it really matters what cards you get, but it also matters so much how sharply you play. Today I was the PEGGING QUEEN ALSO!! That's how I went out in my 2nd game, the 3rd game I SKUNKED my partner. Here are 2 of us who've won in the past. Next week out of the 8 of us, 5 of us COULD WIN!

@Kurtize: Joyce, I love your posts and so glad that you are joining in the chat. I like the positivity you are doing for your Lenten practice. I keep telling myself that aging is not for the feint of heart. Each time I see the doctor, I learn something else is going on with my body. The other thing I tell myself is that everyone will have a turn, and now it is my turn.💐

@Dianedoessmiles1: You look great in purple and love the queen of hearts. I am so glad that you made it into the finals. Will be cheering you on. I'm sure the kitties will, too, because a 100 buys lots of treats!

@Tabatha_Cain: Hope you can get some sleep before the weekend. (Daylight Savings Time usually messes me up and pray that it doesn't have an effect upon you).

@bookieNJ: I am going to close so that I can get back to my book. It is a Sherlock Holmes mystery that I'm surprisingly enjoying.

We still have some Bradford pears in our area. They are starting to bloom and am posting a photo for tonight. When the blossoms start falling, it reminds me of snow. I've tried to get some photos but they haven't turned out.

Have a good night and a great Thursday! (Making an egg casserole for dinner. We haven't had that in quite a while).

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is hopefully going to be a good day. I have to pack tonight we are heading to Joe's parents this weekend. I am so happy that we have nothing going on this weekend other than church. I am working with the children this weekend so that is good. I am with the 3rd graders again.

@NovemberGail - It does make everything more real. I am so excited. So darn excited. I love those pear trees,
@LindieMaeP - I am not surewhy I am struggling with sleep. I know that Sunday I was up in the ER with my son until 2 am Monday morning. So that may be it.
    @Kurtize - That is great.
    @ginnaboots - I am getting married June, 24, 2023. I am so excited.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - Thank you. I was so tired this week. I did not realize you could look people up and their addresses.

Well it is time to get ready for work. I hope you all have a great day.

Hi Everyone. I’m not able to get to read all of the chats very often, but do enjoy it when I can. Love hearing what everyone is doing. This winter has been fun in that I’ve gotten to go hiking in AZ 2 different times. I think I’ve fallen in love with the red rocks! Living in the Northwoods in Wisconsin, it’s mostly forest hiking I get to do here.

@Catwmncat I see your food pics and my stomach starts to growl. 😂
@bookieNJ I love reading too. What genres do you like most? My problem is I have 2 non-fictions, 2 e-books and 1 CD book all going on at the same time! And my book shelves are still filled with ones I haven’t gotten to yet. 😵
@LindieMaeP I live in Northern Wisconsin, so we still are often below freezing and still get dumped on with the now. Last week we got another 6” with ice underneath. 🙄 I’ve only been to Victoria, never Vancouver. My hubby and I do want to explore Canada sometime in the next few years. We love to travel, but our destinations have mostly been tied with going scuba diving.
@Love your picture of the pear tree blooms. Makes me miss my childhood home. The houses were built in a pear orchard. Yum!
@Dianedoessmiles1 Congrats on qualifying! Good luck in the tournament. Glad you are back in your groove. 😊

OMG what beautiful photos. We have a 2 granddaughters and family and one grandson and family that live in AZ. We were almost thinking of moving there but was a little more expensive then what we wanted to spend. But it is very nice place. Got in my ST. So far the goals I have set for March I am keeping. Have a happy Thursday everyone.

@Dianedoessmiles1 -definitely! And with reading you can skim a boring book (here’s looking at you black candle women). Also I love the purple shirts. I hope you win!
@NovemberGail -Enjoy your book! I’m not a big mystery fan so I don’t really read Sherlock Holmes.
@tjharleygal55 -i guess historical fiction? I usually have 4 books going at a time too. That’s funny. One for book club, one as a buddy read, a read with Jenna book, and usually an audio book going. My buddy read is always non fiction.

Good afternoon everyone, it's a lovely day here today and a great day for a change, a haircut and very short too the way I like it, will be so much cooler and easier to deal with and less fuss ... I enjoyed having it long while I did but it was time to go. I put a watery lotion on my scalp for a condition I have and it requires it to be massaged in through the hair, this way it will get to where it is needed as I can only use it once a day on a dry scalp.
@tjharleygal55 those are awesome pictures I would love hiking in that area, unless there are snakes or bugs LOL I have been to North Dakota but not Wisconsin but my grands used to love to vacation in the Dells area. Course they are much older now too. Adults and can do their own thing. I have a great neice and her name is "Harley" lol
@Tabatha_Cain I well understand ER in the early mornings as when my son had his issues that led to his MS had us all worried and it does not go away over night either. I hope you can find a way to cope and sleep and get on with what needs to be done for your wedding, that day will be here before you know it!
@everyone I hope you have a wonderful day it is PURSDAY afterall and the sun is shining, well here anyway, and the trees are all budding so I look forward to the leaves and blossoms coming forth !!

Wednesday's Eats was same ole, same ole with nothing new and I forgot to hit post so I'll just share what I found yesterday. Key Lime Pie M&M's, YUM!! I have been looking for these EVERYWHERE and could only find them online for ridiculously high prices, up to $25 per 7oz bag. Had to stop at the store for a couple things and what did I see... and they were on sale for $3.49!! I grabbed a few bags and now have enough to last me a couple years as I usually only eat 8 at a time. Oh Happy Day!!!😁💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻😁

@NovemberGail Moses and the burning bush gave me a good laugh! Thanks!
@LindieMaeP the picture at False Creek of the carved out tree trunk is AWESOME!!!

@ginnaboots I'm right there procrastinating doing the taxes. Mine are so easy and we almost always get a refund so I don't know why I wait until the last minute. Last year I finally did them only hours before deadline.
@tjharleygal55 Thanks for the compliment on my food posts. I need to post them to hold myself accountable and hopefully they inspire others. My DIL and grands will be going hiking in the Grand Canyon on Spring Break vacay next week. It will be quite an experience for them as where we are here in Florida we don't even have hills, everything is just FLAT. Your photos are beautiful.

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been a mostly sunny day. Got lots done. Exercise, studying, dishes, laundry, finished taking all the Christmas and winter deco down, washed windows and put up St. Patrick's day deco. Oh and I even dusted in the living room and did some more decluttering. So far we are COVID free. I think we'll be fine and got really lucky. Tomorrow will be snow and a bit of it. Looking forward to the extra exercise and money.

Past my bedtime so I'm not leaving comments on the individual posts. The photos are beautiful. The Sherlock Holmes book is finished and. . .

Today I experimented with an egg casserole recipe. I added caramelized onions, mushrooms, with broccoli and cheddar cheese and bacon. Turned out pretty good. I could make it in the morning and served for an evening meal.

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is going to be a good day. Even with all the snow we just got. My fiance said the roads were not too bad. Mostly slush so I can go into work and work there. I don't have to be home today. I have so much to do this morning now. I have to pack up laptops and I have to pack up my medicine. I can get it all done though. No big deal. I am getting out of work early since Joe has an appointment today for the doctor and I am going with him. From there we are going to his parents house.

@tjharleygal55 - The photos are beautiful. Winter has been fun. Aside from all the cold snow it has not been that bad.
@Kurtize - Arizona is beautiful. I was there for 3 months when I was younger. I thought about staying there.
@LindieMaeP - Yes it is getting here so fast. Only 3 months and 14 days. I love your photos too. The orange flower is so pretty.
@Catwmncat - I do the same thing with my m&ms. I only eat 5-8 of them at a time. I am hoping I get a good relaxing weekend. I need to relax this morning.
@NovemberGail - That sounds really good. I need some of that.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - You always do so well with cribbage. Good Luck. Kittens do take a lot of space.

Well it is time to get ready for work. I hope you all have a great day.
