Diane-no never did get in my office. Guess what I woke up to this morning.....lots of snow! I had a smile on my face like a chester cat! I was so excited and I am heading out here shortly for a hike. Waiting for my phone to charge up some.

Tabatha-Congratulations! Make sure you post some pictures of the big day.

Novembergail-Love the pictures of the pear blossoms. Do you pick the pears and eat them? Reminds me of when I was a little girl and we would go to my grandmas and I would pick pears at the park down the road. That egg casserole sounds delicious!

@tjharleygal55 -Wow...those pictures are so beautiful! I would love to hike there. I live in Michigan and do a lot of hiking. Headed out here shortly for a beautiful winter hike. We finally got some snow! Yay!

Cat-I have never had key lime M & M's. I can imagine if it was hard for you do find them, they would be impossible to find them here.

@CSEGUIN2 -Glad you are Covid free. How is your son and sister and her boyfriend doing? Hope they didn't get hit hard.

    Tabatha-Have a fun weekend!

Lindie-WOW! Those pictures are spectacular! I used to have poppies in my garden when I had gardens. I had beautiful gardens with tons of flowers, but it just got too much for me to handle with work and everything so I dug everything out and simplified. Most of my neighbors thought I was crazy, but hey didn't have time for it anymore.

    Happy Friday everyone!

Good morning, I hope everyone is enjoying their Friday and the slide down into a fabulous weekend! I just finished 1 load of laundry that I decided to do today rather then wait till Monday, now my Monday can be free for other important things.
@ginnaboots those pictures are of Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver and I have more to share eventually of other parks including the UBC Botanical .. we do have a lot of green here in Vancouver AND good hiking trails too. However, I stick to low lands due ot nerve issues with my leg and back and I still get to see some amazing sites!
@Tabatha_Cain enjoy your day today and have a good weekend and hopefully you can relax and let go of all the tension.
@Catwmncat glad you found your M&M's you like, you should have a dispencing M&M Machine LOL I prefer mine with dark chocolate and almonds ... But I did recently try and Black Forrest Cake chocolate, forget who does it but I ate the whole thing in 2 days LOL weight is up for sure LOL I won't sweat the small stuff and just keep working it!
@everyone, thank you kindly for the comments on the pictures, I thought I would post some of my trip to Amish territory a few years back quite a few actually, it was an amazing vacation! This is a farmhouse that we toured and the two quilts were more then I could afford ! And I would not know how to work the farious fabric machines posted below the quilts. Have a good day and what ever you have planned for the weekend, enjoy to the full !

Hi everyone and happy Friday. We had a thunder storm last night, supposed to also thunder today but so far nothing. So I was able to get my walk in. It is cloudy but that's it. 67 outside. @LindieMaeP loved the pictures. Wishing everyone a happy weekend.

    Today's daily inspiration:

I rest in the light of forgiveness.
I forgive myself and others for that
which is done (and better left undone)
and also that which is not done (and better if done).
I give myself permission to enjoy this moment without guilt.
I freely release all uncertainty, regret, and fear.

@NovemberGail that egg casserole sounds fabulous! Can you please share the recipe link or the site that you got it from?
@Tabatha_Cain Hope all went well with Joe's appointment and you have a safe trip traveling. Just Relax and Enjoy this weekend... everything else can wait until Monday!
@ginnaboots YAY!!! You finally got snow! Hope it is enough to last a few days. Enjoy it until it melts. The Key Lime M&M's are seasonal and only available around Easter time... they did not sell them last year, but probably got many requests for them so they brought them back this year. They are out right now and many on here around the US have posted that they had gotten them, but they just arrived in my area. You probably can't eat them anyway because of the sugar.
@LindieMaeP It's really funny that you mentioned a dispensing machine for the M&M's... I got one for my grandsons for Christmas along with a huge container of M&M's. I have to freeze individual slices of cake with frosting or I eat the whole thing as well!!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Son is still coughing but wearing a mask at work. Not sure how my sister and her boyfriend are doing as I haven't talked to them.

Today was another productive and busy day thanks to the snow. Completed all workouts, studied, did dishes, laundry, shoveled snow for 2 properties, and played cards with Hubby. Still need to get some decluttering done today.

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are doing well. Today is going to be a good day. I have gotten a lot done already for the wedding this weekend. We got the mugs almost completely done last night. Only a couple more things to do for the weekend in regards to the wedding. I am super excited about planning this stuff. I hope it all works out right.

@ginnaboots - Oh I will post some pictures. I am too excited not to. I cannot wait. We are on count down
@LindieMaeP - I am hoping too. I would love to be able to relax this weekend. Those quilts are amazing
@Kurtize - Glad you were able to get your walk in.
@Catwmncat - That is true. It can all wait. I need a relaxing weekend.

Well it is time to get ready to get some breakfast. I hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning. A day behind and a dollar short.

The joke on me this morning. I thought I was putting a conditioner in my hair and thought the product was drying out. Found out it was Eucerin. Will have to see if my hair gets softer. LOL.

@Catwmncat: Here is the Healthy Egg Casserole (Egg Bake) Site:
    https://joyfoodsunshine.com/egg-casserole/#recipe

Since some of us have food restrictions, I change the recipe to fit their needs. I also fried the bacon first and then sautéed the onions in the grease. (I am giggling right now. I never pictured sharing a recipe with anyone😽

    @jeanhickokhaley1: Love those crocuses!

@Dianedoessmiles1: Sorry that your were not feeling your best during some of the games.

@ginaboots: I misspoke--those aren't Bradford pears but ornamental pears. We do have a pear tree and so does our neighbor -- who allows me to take what I want. It is too early for those blossoms. Though I do have past year photos.

Today's words are strength and love.

I'm enjoying this casual "inbetween challenge" - gives me a chance to catch up with myself. Between taxes, writing e-courses, writing books, and singing in the community chorus, I'm busier than I was before retirement. I'd heard people say that in the past and didn't see how it was possible to be busier than I was while working, but it's true! We seem to think we can take on more, right?

Beginning April 16, I'll be offering a new online course based on my Feral Fables self-help book. Send me a note if you want more information.

Hi all! We’ll March has proven to be wintery. Had snow, rain and ice this morning but then more rain so it’s all gone. Some stuff had a later start time or canceled

@NovemberGail that recipe looks good. That's great you have a Pear tree, and your neigbors. Natural fruit is the best! No rain today. It's 57, we haven't been in the 50's for two months. Windy again though.

Good afternoon folks, well it's afternoon here and tomorrow will be day 1 of daylight savings time as BC can't make it's own mind up, well good thing I am retired and can afford to loose sleep over the transition or not. I hope you all are enjoying your day and your activities. Below are pictures of Stanely Park Vancouver BC again. I have been on the horse and carriage ride, it was pretty cool and the person doing the ride, was a hockey fan and gave lots of information about hockey that I never knew and dont' remember LOL

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been mostly sunny. Had a more relaxed day today. But still got , my exercise done, did dishes, laundry, studied and read my bookclub book. Also played cards with Hubby. Need to still do some decluttering somewhere, but maybe not today.

Lindie-Oh I love those pictures. The quilts are so beautiful. Did you post a pic of your haircut? I thought Diane mentioned you posted a picture. Maybe I read it wrong.

Cat-Snow has already melted. Here today, gone tomorrow has been the theme all winter for us. We haven't had any snow that has lasted more than a few days. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. Love that picture of your grandsons!

cseguin2-Glad your son is feeling better and that you guys didn't get it. Hope his cough goes away soon. Great job on the workouts.

Diane-No more snow:(. Oh well I take every season as it comes. Got to make the most out of being out in nature no matter the weather. Not big on the heat of summer, but love swimming and boating so I will transition well.

Tabatha-Glad the wedding planning is going well. Most people get stressed out from planning their wedding, but it sounds like you are enjoying it and are so excited.

Novembergail-Oh that is too funny about the Eucerin. I bet you will have the softest hair....lol.

    Happy Saturday all!

Cat-That is some yummy food! Pasta looks great.

Lindie-Love that meme about going to the gym! Hahahaha! Oh and yes I would have gotten my money back for the envelopes also. That is crazy 30 bucks for 100 envelopes. Someone be smoking something....lol

Nothing new under the sun here today. Just work and I am taking somewhat of a rest day. That hike yesterday was a bit much, but it was so nice I just didn't want to come in. I hiked the dunes along Lake Michigan and my calves are feeling it....lol.

Hope everyone has a nice peaceful Sunday!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been a nice relaxed day. Studied, went to church via walking, did my exercises and played cards with Hubby. Also need to do dishes, laundry, and finish reading the chapters for my bookclub.

Logged in to my school account to look at something and noticed that my next course materials have been shipped and I have still not received them. It's only supposed to take 10 business days. Gotta love Canada Post sometimes. Sent the school an email about it and waiting for a response. I hope it comes soon as I am almost done with the material I have. I don't want to have to take a break and lose momentum.
