@Bumbinella - It’s good to learn which foods makes us feel better and which ones our body doesn’t like. That’s such an important part of this process, isn’t it?

I’ve been thinking about reducing the amount of bread I eat. Adding bread to my meals feels more like habit than anything else. So, I’m testing out when I can do without it, or substitute something else, versus when it complements my meal in a satisfying way. It’s part of my effort to eat fewer processed foods.

I assume you want to join the step challenge again for March? Are you keeping a 12.000 step goal?

Yes, I would like to join the step goal in March. I do really well with my goals during the week, but I need to do better on the weekends. I think my official goal will be 12,000, but my unofficial goal will be 15,000 on weekdays and 12,000 on weekends.

@pupowl Sorry you had a rough day today!! Hope you're feeling better soon! I'm resting and soaking up Betty's purrs today...hope you're doing the same with Tinus! Added Alleykat69 to the step table after inserting two lines...wasn't sure if there was another person awaiting space. Let me know.

Thank you! I don't know how to do that without breaking the sheet. It's great we have so many steppers. I think everyone is on there now. Today was much better with barely a headache thankfully and I had a lazy day with Tinus. Enjoy your day!

    Last weight: 249

I'll post my miles tomorrow. I didn't get nearly as many as I wanted. My week was messed up because of my husband's work schedule, but hopefully this will be more of a normal week

@pupowl, love on Tinus for me.
@PatriceFitnessPal , I'm so sorry about Petey. He was adorable.

In other news, I've been in bed pretty much since Friday yall. I've got a bad cold. I won't be able to go into work today or tomorrow. I've been puffy because of the cold. I always get puffy when I'm sick. I will get my weigh in done @jessicakrall8 this week. I even woke up with no voice this morning but it's starting to return. I did do the COVID19 home test and I'm negative for that so that's a plus. My landlords had this and I'm sure I caught this from them. And then everything is starting to bloom early.

Thank you, @Armygirlarmyof1 — It’s been a sad time but I’m grateful for the love, joy, and positive experiences we shared with Petey.

I didn’t really feel like going to soccer last night but I’m glad I dragged myself there. It was good to move as a way to relieve stress.

@PatriceFitnessPal , yw. When I lost my fella back in November, I received a card from his vets and really thought that was so nice. I hope you get to the bottom of the scam call. I am glad your momma didn't send the money though. Close call.

@Armygirlarmyof1 - Yes — The community has been very supportive and a couple of people have sent us cards. Today, we also received a card from his long term vet and staff, who have been like friends to us — and cared for Petey so much. They were all in tears with us, but they wanted to be the ones to help him pass peacefully. We are so fortunate to live in such a wonderful neighborhood.

I hope you get over your cold soon and regain you voice and energy. Take care!

Oh no, I just finished reading up all the messages I missed. I‘m so sorry about Petey 😢 @PatriceFitnessPal
It’s a shame they can’t live as long as humans.

What a horrible thing to do, scamming elderly people. I hope the police gets to the bottom of this. Sending much strength to you for the upcoming week and hope you and your siblings can figure out a way to help your loved ones that’s working out well for you all.

Got you added to the step challenge and asked for your weigh in day to be moved. The March step challenge started on the 26th of Feb, so if you have steps for 26, 27 and 28 Feb, that would be great. Thanks!

    Thanks for the reminder, @Pupowl!

Here's my steps for Feb and the last few days:

    2/26 - 3745
    2/27 - 6065
    2/28 - 7091
    3/1 - 8311
    3/2 - 7343
    3/3 - 5105
    3/4 - 10624
    3/5 - 4997

Good morning Shape Shifters. Not much happening here. Had a pretty lazy day with too much food, but I did get in a 47 minute workout. Happy Tuesday everyone <3

@Pupowl so good you got a workout in ☺️💪
Today‘s card resonates a lot with me. I’m at a crossroad in my career… continue what I‘ve been doing for the last 15 years, what I‘m good at and am respected for in the industry I‘m working in OR doing something completely new, something that I always wanted to do but never had the guts to try. Deep down I feel that I need to give it a shot and it will all work out just fine. I hear that inner voice getting louder each day 😅
