Just getting home...had to work late again tonight and I'm exhausted. My day was non-stop. Got up early and walked a mile, then did a half mile once I got home...heated up some baked chicken and that was all I ate. I'm headed to bed as 630am will be here before ya know it! Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday!

@pupowl Thank you so much for keeping the spreadsheets up-to-date...I'm so glad we're partners in crime! This week would have been much harder without your help! **HUGS**

    Have a wonderful Friday y'all!

@SavageMrsMoose — You’re making great progress! Congratulations on your 9-minute mile and biking! — and congratulations to your daughter for prosecuting the DUI case! It must be so rewarding to practice after all her studies. Your taxi driving job paid off 🤣😂🤣! I only vaguely remember all those early morning crew carpools to the boathouse with my son. It was too early for me and it was REALLY too early for the teens!!

I’m amazed you were able to arrange so many contractors to work on the house during your short stay. I’ve been searching for an exterior painter for my mother’s house since the ‘wildlife abatement’ team made sure the squirrels stayed out of the attic and confirmed that the eaves really need some paint — along with the rest of the house. Dead tree removal and painting are the current priorities for her house, and I have a number of small projects that need to get done at our house so we’re working to get on the waiting lists for the electrician and other skilled workers but it’s more of a marathon than a sprint to get things done locally and in Boston. Good job handling so many tasks during your trip and I hope you can enjoy the weekend before your trip back to Colorado. Safe travels!

Due to my increase in cycling my weightlifting coach changed my macros to allow for more carbs while keeping overall calories static. This seemed to help, as I had a stressful week but didn't eat my stress like I usually do.

I’m sorry for the delay in posting my weigh-in report this week. Yesterday, I was still visiting my mother’s house and I didn’t like the (2 pounds) higher scale number there 😬 Today, I weighed in using my home scale and the result was more consistent with my usual pattern 😅.

I’m still outside my target range of 120-130, and my husband bought lots of our favorite foods at the Mediterranean Bakery so I’ll need to really plan my daily menus so I don’t exceed my calorie goals. Today, I skipped a walk with my rowing friends because I was tired after my late return last night. I also altered my breakfast, which is typically an egg flat helps me boost my protein. Instead, I had a raspberry hamantaschen from the bakery so I’ll have to pay careful attention to my macronutrient balance today. Best wishes for meeting your personal goals this week, Shape Shifters!

@LaurieWrobo Lot's of snow. We have more snow coming today too, 15-20 cm. I keep waiting for spring.
Thank you everyone for the kind words.
@Pupowl @jessicakrall8 can you please have me excused from tomorrows weigh in. My weight has been up and down more than 10 lbs this week, not sure what's going on, but it's definitely not an accurate measure of fat loss . I know it's not the scale, as it's been consistent for my husband.

Oh my gosh, that snow looks absolutely glorious to me. I doubt it's fun if you have to leave the house, but I can't think of better winter weather than a good pile of snow!
    @pedal__power
I rather having a dark evening. I need a lot of sleep to feel somewhat human and it is so much harder to go to bed on time when it is still light out. I also prefer to walk in the morning. I wish they would stop messing with the clock since it is very disruptive for a lot of people, but for wildlife as well.
    @PatriceFitnessPal
I have never heard of hamantaschen before, but that looks super tasty and pretty!

Another snow storm - another 7+ in. of snow + 2-4 in on Sunday- apparently Mother Nature ignored the Spring memo - right now there are 99,000 ppl without power due to heavy snow blowing out transformers, etc.
    This is my backyard[img][/img]prqyga7os0tp.jpg

@LaurieWrobo Boy, you were not exaggerating this morning in your comment on the app! It sure looks much more beautiful that it is to deal with in person, I'm sure. There's nothing like the sound of that "stillness" though...that I do miss on occasion...and the crispness of the air when you're outside.

Hope it clears soon for you...stay home and stay warm, my friend!! Indoor walking it is!!

Good morning Shape Shifters. I did some more cleaning yesterday and laundry. We didn't get a lot of rain, but more snow! I was so excited. It was really wet at first but by the evening it looked like a pretty nice layer. It was supposed to be -6 at night, so I went to bed expecting the snow to still be here the next morning (it is and its glorious). Happy Saturday everyone <3

Only a tiny loss but still glad to be under 140 mark.
I've felt really tired this week eventhough Ive slept well.Ive not been to the gym as much as usual as the Dance fit class got booked up & I only managed 2 sessions.I know you love the snow @Pupowl & I love how it looks too but I don't like walking in it as I'm scared of slipping & falling over.We have had snow in the area but we avoided the worse of it so far.
@frankwbrown walking around an empty mall would solve the wintry weather problem but it looks a bit creepy 😳 I think I prefer it with people & things to look at,but each to his own.

@frankwbrown mall walking is a nice solution but man it would feel eerie.
@izzyred9400 walking on snow and ice without falling is certainly a skill.
@Pupowl i’m glad you are enjoying the snow. We had relatives come from the Netherlands one winter to experience a “white Christmas”. We don’t always get a lot of snow before January, but it worked out for them that year. We had about 1 meter on the ground when they left.

@pedal__power There is a time change this weekend??? LOL! Glad you mentioned it

@PatriceFitnessPal my husband gets the credit. I specifically came down for the doors I ordered in SEPTEMBER but he got on the phone and started calling. The first stucco inspector said April...

We don't have the same luck in Colorado. My husband has been trying to get our cars washed since October. We have a drive through car wash, but one car has black paint so it needs to be hand done. And when you put dogs in the car .... They are sweet but they shed! There is a car was in a town 1.5 hours away, but they get awfully dirty on the way back. I guess it will be summer before they get washed.

@frankwbrown That does look eerie. And I hate it when my GPS doesn't work. I tracked a run the other day- my Garmin said I ran 5, the Peloton app said 2.85!!! Big difference!! I used them both again yesterday, they were off by only .01.

@LaurieWrobo Remind me where you live? That kind of snow is good for skiing, but definitely not for driving.

Anyone watching the Oscars this weekend? I've seen a few of the films. I love the red carpet fashion, but I usually don't watch the actual show.

Going to Soulcycle with my daughter this morning, then running errands and visiting my parents! Have a great weekend everyone!

@SavageMrsMoose I live in SE Wisconsin- there were 100,000 ppl without power yesterday and still 5,000 out today
I'm not watching the Oscars- too political and there is not even a red carpet this year - its champagne- WTH

    Saturday
    PW 135.2

I start with my countdown to vacation: 4 weeks and I will be gone for 3 weeks.
First panic: who will cover my work? I have no backup…sadly I will take my laptop to the trip
Second panic: will I be able to exercise during that time? No gyms where I am going.
There will be a lot of walking and a lot of really good food. And no scales!
Third panic: I got rid of all my clothes and since I lost weight and did not buy many because I work from home and barely go out, packing for 3 weeks where the weather is unpredictable is going to be hard.

Ok, time to work for me, a lot to do with the house renovation
You all have a great week

Well, training for my Jazzercise audition is really helping! I am sore in places I didn’t think possible lol.

@jessicakrall8 I will need to skip the next few weeks: I am traveling to Vegas next week for Spring Break with my daughter, then 10 days in Miami with my husband to search for a condo. We are very excited!! I will be back to weigh-ins on Saturday, April 1.

    Happy weekend everyone!!
