    I need a really good month. I’m tired of maintaining. I’m going to find time for exercise in between my mom’s pre-op appointments, surgery and post op. Here I come 160s. 🤣

    BTW Ron and I are postponing my birthday trip to Jamaica. I don’t want to leave mom that soon after surgery. Wouldn’t enjoy myself. We were gong May 20-27. Now we will go in November. It’s beautiful there at that time. I do have a couple of other trips planned this summer including a surprise for mom’s birthday in August. 😉

    Wow Kathy and Chris you said it best. I am going to work out every day possible. No excuses.

    Kathy you are so good to your mom.

    Studied a little with my granddaughter today for her written drivers test. Walked the dogs a little. Cold and windy here. Then put on some dancing tunes and did the first 2 parts of the April workout. I have been working at it for a couple weeks. Getting easier.

    Yesterday 04/01...16,112 steps.
    Don't know about today, yet. Probably should have been easier on myself yesterday...might have still been recovering from the Shingles shot. I don't remember feeling like that with the first shot, but this one kicked my fanny!! I'm going to post my steps every day since we've lost our Fitbit challenges.

    I'm trying to increase activity to help burn calories. Did an 1.5hr pulling raspberries today, which was exhausting, as desired.

    Shelley, beautiful and cold!!! And just so you know, I'm complaining about 61 degrees and 14 mph cold winds in Northern California's sunshine!!! :#
    Did my Collin Duty this morning then 60 mins with my trainer today. Now I'm gonna read!

    Muahaha. Chris it is all subjective. That would be a heatwave to me. Especially after our record snowfall in one day. We had 28 inches at our house. Spent lots of time in the snow. And working on the guest room.

    Kathy I am excited to see how you are taking to the challenge. What, if any, music are you playing while doing it? I was listening to Robert Palmer yesterday.

    Went into work today. There were only 4 deputies for 5 floors and the basement! To many roads still closed. And daycares/schools also closed. Worked on the paint a little. Did some trim painting and Rocky did the ceiling. Hardly got in any steps. Just some push ups.

    I need a good month also ladies. I've been doing way too many carbohydrates for my body.... of course I know this :)

    Paula - I also need more intense exercise. Really need to make sure that I'm fitting it in. I do think now that it's nicer outside it'll give me more opportunities. Gotta get my bike tires pumped up :)

    Quite a crazy week at work. The big boss was in town, so lots of presentations and in office time. All positive....he's happy with what i am doing with my team which is good. I have off tomorrow. Taking Bella to New York City overnight just she and I. Jim is happy fo get a break no doubt! We're gonna have some lunch, go shopping, and see Six the musical (about yhe 6 wives of Henry yue 8th). I saw last. Year and it's a ton of fun! So hoping to get some special time with her.
