    @trooworld - oops, I missed the part about Daisy getting hurt. I hope it wasn't too bad and that Violet quickly learns that is not the thing to do.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 - you got a loss this week- Congrats. The next 4 days should be plenty exciting! Keep us updated. BTW- I love the pic of you and the mamas to be!

    @laurelfit57 - Being consistent is a good point. We are also trying to look for/recognize progress that has been made. It's easy to focus on what he hasn't learned yet instead of all the stuff he's doing well at, and that just gets you down. You're right- it will be worth it in the end. And I need to stop acting like a toddler- "wah, wah, I want it now!" Thank you for the encouragement and for celebrating me. And Hooray for sleep!

    @Katmary71 - Goodness, I hope Bill is OK. He's been through a lot lately.

    I lost the measurements that I did in Feb and wrote on a scrap of paper to enter "later", but I measured myself yesterday and was "fatter" than I was the last time I did measurements- about a year ago. That could have sent me off the rails, but it didn't. I've decided that I need to get my weight under 170 toot sweet. So that is my next goal.

    Happy Friday to all.

    @trooworld - what a cute puppy! 😍

    @laurelfit57 - yay for sleep!!!

    @Katmary71 - don’t ever delete a lengthy vent session, pm me lol sometimes I need to vent to someone too! I’m so sorry things got rocky and Bill is having so many problems, I’m sure not being able to be with him is very hard on you both! Hugs! Love your new picture. Isn’t it crazy how few people stay friends from school? I always knew this and have preached it to my kids, I actually work in the same building with a girl I grew up with and we were best friends in high school, she even lived with us for several months, we have stayed great friends but time and distance grew more and more and we rarely ever talk. I saw her at Christmas and told her I moved back home (3 miles from her) and she hasn’t ever tried to reach out or talk. I didn’t feel it necessary to try again when I started working here 🤷🏼‍♀️

    @micaroo4 - I haven’t started stretching either ☹️ really need to start!

    @AmbersWay - I need to stop calling it Beachbody because they have rebranded and are now just called Bodi 👎🏼 I’ll never get used to that. Sorry you had a rough week, love those goals, and clothes victories are the best!! I need more challenges, I’ve tried looking for other friends and challenges but haven’t found anything yet. Guess I’m not looking hard enough.

    @tammymccrady6278 - I’ve been the same for so long! 😂 the weightloss is coming so super slowly this time but I’m hoping that means I’ll actually keep it off! How did yoga go?

    @DrewsAnna - I love that you reannounced your goals! I have had to do that so many times.

    @Cornanda - I love to hear your pet frustrations. I love dogs and have always had them but when I got divorced I was ready to step away from owning any. They are just like having kids, I needed a break! I had been basically a single mom to two humans for 21 years and I can’t begin to name the number and variety of pets. My husbands (both) always wanted and got different animals and it was always left up to me to care for them. I hated losing them 💔 but it’s inevitable when their lifespans are so much shorter than ours. It’s nice not to have the added responsibility for now. I’m sure I’ll settle in and get a new love one of these years but not now. I’m happy for y’all that have partners that pitch in equally!

    @Jactop - message me if you have any questions….keto wise. I’m curious what you eat mostly. When I was very strict keto I noticed my diary was almost always under calories also. My hunger and food intake also decreased. What did you choose for a sweetener? What do you drink daily besides water? I still sway more towards keto than anything I just haven’t been able to stick with it for an extended period since before Covid 🤷🏼‍♀️

    @bethanie0825 - I’ve missed you!!! I happy you’re on a normal schedule. Hopefully it’s just taking your body awhile to adjust and you get everything figured out soon.

    @vegan4lyfe2012 - Thank you for the Easter Card and all of my cards!!! I love them so much! I’m so excited for next Tuesday for you!!! Can’t wait to hear updates!!! This pregnancy seemed to fly by from my perspective!! 😂 Hopefully when it’s my turn, time slows a bit!

    I reread and caught up with you all. Sorry if I missed specific highlights! I love everyone in this group! Time is hard to juggle. I want to do so much and most days I am but other days I just sleep and don’t want to crawl out of bed. This past week we went bowling, to the races, had Easter with my family, celebrated my nieces birthday (without her twin brother this year💔) I took them all to the Myriad gardens in OKC so we could take pictures of her with the tulips, I’ve been making it to her softball games also. My son started staying back with my little brother, so I spend a couple nights a week hanging with them and see my daughter at work and on the weekends! Still don’t do too much with my mom but we’ve had a few good moments together here and there! I’ve made it to the gym 4 times this month, ran 3 miles and walked a couple times. I’m ready to hit the trails soon for another hike! The scale is slowly moving! I so happy to still be progressing but It’s just so hard to focus on it all!!!

    @Cornanda I love you using the increased measurements as fuel to lose vs. fuel to overeat, way to go!

    @shaunarlr83 Oh that stinks your friend didn't reach out after you talked to her, I was hoping that was going to end better! You've had a ton going on, I'm not surprised you have days where you just need to rest. I love all your connections with your family, I'm glad you have a great support system and are for others as well. Hope you get that hike in soon!

    @trooworld I'd missed the fight with Daisy and Violet, I'm so glad Daisy's ok, that's real frightening and I hope it stops with training. The trainer sounds awesome from your description! Wonderful loss too! Hope you have a blast at the dog party, that sounds fun. Funny you mentioned not taking one dog without the other, that's what started Jasper's behavioral issues with Asher was being separated with nail trims. I hadn't thought it would be that bad but a lot of issues can start with taking one animal away so I agree it's smart to do.

    Hi everyone, hope you all had a great day. Bill's pancreatitis is back and the hospital did scans on his chest and abdomen trying to get to the bottom of things, he'll get the results in a couple days so he's there for a bit. I didn't hear from him until this afternoon so I was freaking out at the greenhouse and overdid it there. His phone's dead and I contacted the gift shop and they're out of chargers so his only communication is with the regular phone there now, I'm guessing Amazon doesn't deliver to patient's beds right? Put a message in the delivery notes to leave on his chest, haha. I have a couple offers to give me rides there but I don't know if I could get back unless Bill can drive me which he can't do if he's still bad. I'm tempted to bring him back here to heal but he's been out of work so much that he can't afford to leave. I stress-ate last night, trying hard not to tonight. I moved peppers into bigger pots all morning and there's a lot more that needs to go in the ground or in pots and with this storm next week it's going in pots so I'll do that instead of the farm tomorrow. I have to stop there to drop off a plant for someone and check out the plant sale too. Done rambling, be awesome tomorrow!

    Whew!! Today we poured leaves and branches in our new garden frame. Covered with dirt only to find out I needed more dirt. We got more and finished quite literally before the hail storm came. Again I say Whew!!!

    @trooworld I forgot you can do that with Chewy, sounds like you got a helpful vet. I hope they work out their issues, I know it's frustrating as all get-out plus it seems kind of mean from a human's perspective. Yay for senior dogs, they're probably way more relaxing than Violet right now energy-wise! Oh that stinks to eat stuff not worth the calories! I hope the vet can help Daisy, poor gal.

    @19shmoo69 Oh no, the neverending dirt issue! What's the leave and branches for, are you doing Hugelkultur? Glad you got all that done before the hail!

    Hey team, hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It's been beautiful here today. I got to the greenhouse super early then hit the farmer's market. I went to the farm for a plant sale and back later to show my friend and her mom around and snagged more plants (yikes I have a ton of stuff already and not much variety) then spent the rest of the day in the yard. Bill's still in the hospital and getting more tests tomorrow, hopefully he'll be home in the next day or two with a plan to get better. So last year I was dropping off herb cuttings at a plant stand and had really loved the owner of it and she said something kind of rude last year so I wasn't going there anymore. I decided I need to get over it and stop holding a grudge and she'd given me a cool tomato variety a few years ago saying she wanted me to have it and if it ever came back that's when she's meant to grow it. So I found her on Easter and brought her one of the seedlings I started of that variety and said it decided to come back to her this year. She was so touched (I feel like a mushy dork) I'm glad I'm moving on, it was a little inconvienent boycotting her stand when it's around the corner from my brother's plus we're both herb lovers. I'm still not shopping at Macy's or buying from the stone fruit vendor at the farmer's market though!

    @Katmary71 I think that's what it's called. We needed deeper beds but deep beds with just dirt would've cost way too much money. The dirt I used cost some but the branches and leaves were free.

    Apologies that I have not been on lately. This week was nuts. I have over 50 comments in our group to check look through. I like to keep up to date with everyone. I’ll try to be more present this week. I need to work harder on my food intake as I am gaining. Thinking a few less hot beverages in the morning and better late night snacks. Just picked up some baby carrots and grape tomatoes. That’s pretty impressive for me. 😁

    And guess what? More snow coming for Manitoba! 😫. Shouldn’t last too long though. Everything else is melted now and we have had above freezing temperatures for the most part. So. Done. With. Winter.

    @micaroo4 Wow that's some serious mileage, hope you saw a lot of beauties!

    @19shmoo69 I agree, it's both cost-effective and good for the plants to do it so it's a win-win! I don't have raised beds but collected a bunch of wood and leaves in the greenbelt by my house and made a compost pile like that, I put it on the hillside which is real awkward for me to get on with my nerve issues and wasn't too good about watering it or taking my kitchen composter out so it was a bit of a bust. I may put them in the big storage bins I bought to use as pots though, I saved bottles but don't have enough.

    @Cornanda Thank you!

    @trooworld I think using water for the dogs is good because it shocks them out of that aggressive mental zone that starts. I know if I can startle Jasper once he gets “the look” I can get him to stop and he runs off, maybe I should put a squirt bottle by my bed. Hope you have a great walk and farmer's market trip, sounds like a great way to spend the day!

    @fairymange Congratulations on being the top individual weight loser for the last week!

    Yay Mission Slimpossibles are 2nd on the leaderboard, who's rockin April? We are!

    @fairymange @askewcr @FushiaKat Top team winners with biggest losses, woohoo!

    @tammymccrady6278 I'm with you, love seeing all the flowers and warm weather!

    @sleepygirl79 Great snack ideas! Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about the snow, hope it passes quickly. Those are great snacks! What kind of hot beverages do you usually drink in the morning, maybe there's lighter versions of them you can do?

    Hi team, hope you all had a great weekend! Bill's still in the hospital but he's sounding a lot better which is a relief. I worked out then had a good meeting at brunch with someone who wanted to know more about the charity. I feel like now that we're a year into the charity being licensed our board and main volunteers are pretty solid and have built friendships which is pretty wonderful. A friend briefly stopped by and I got a lot of stuff done as far as starting new seeds and caring for the seedlings then went to my brother's for a bit. Tomorrow I have to figure out what all I need as far as dirt/mulch for the yard, I was going to have help getting potting mix at Costco but they were out everywhere so that's frustrating, another time I'm very thankful for curbside pickup! Let's have an extra great week team!

    Hey y'all!

    Just popping in real quick to say hi 🙂 I went in for my biopsy on Friday, lol.... I've had a sore breast but today, it's been less sensitive and feeling better. Now, I wait for results that I should get this week. One of my Dr's., called and asked me, "where I'd like to receive my care if it is breast cancer. I replied, I would like to wait for confirmation before I make that decision. That call made me way more nervous that I already was.

    Saturday, I spent the day with one of my grand beauties. We played "Candy Land" and "Uno". Lol, I tried to teach him "Phase 10" but, that didn't go to well. We watched t.v. and had a nice easy going day. We must've wore each other out because, when his mom came to pick him up we were all sleeping. Lol, grandpa & Chipper too.

    It's late and I'm sleepy. Till tomorrow.

    @Katmary71 good idea. I generally like French vanilla cappuccino (from home or Tim Hortons if I spoil myself) or I mix hot chocolate and instant coffee. I’ve found the Nescafé French vanilla mixes are under 100 calories. I like tea, but not enough to make me really want it. It’s more of a sore throat drink for me. I’m open to other ideas.
    @DrewsAnna sounds like you and grand beauty had a fabulous time. Fingers crossed for your biopsy. No need worrying until you know the results (easier said than done)
