I just joined MyFitnessPal today. I am looking through the app to see how this works. Hoping to count macros to lose body fat and gain muscle mass. I am a 49yr old female. Approx 7 yrs ago I was healthy and participating in Sprint Triathlons. I am embarrassed to say I am now severely overweight (family stress/death of loved ones and parents w/ dementia, Stress from work/healthcare/hospital setting, and I gained a lot of weight during Covid issues and am now struggling w/ hormone changes). I really need a community of support to get on track and do this. I am concerned about time management and keeping track of everything but I so desperately want to be healthy. Are there any Facebook Groups you guys/gals would recommend ? I am open to any advice you have for a newbie. thanks in advance for your time and help with my journey
