With so much going on right now, I'm going to have to take a break from MFP and this group. In fact I'll be taking a break from the internet altogether.

    Thanks,

Trying to establish new balance/routines. School started last week, and I am now both a teacher (high school) and student (Masters degree). On the plus side, teaching increases my activity level throughout the day.

Surgery was yesterday as many of your know ... I have 6 titanium screws in my foot ... I have a plate on the smooth side of my ankle and I have a rod on the other side of my ankle that goes to my knee ...extremely painful to say the least ...

    @Megan_smartiepants1970

Some extra prayers for you this morning, Megan. Hope you will be feeling better soon!

PW: 144.4 pounds (down 0.2 pounds)
CW: 143.4 pounds (down 1.0 pound)

3rd week in a row that I lost so hopefully I'm getting back on track. Need to get back down to 142.2 pounds which is what I was 3 months ago. Need to lose 1.2 pounds to get back to where I was in May which is doable. Still need to lose 13.4 pounds to arrive at my goal weight of 130.0 pounds. Getting closer. Down 26.6 pounds from my highest weight of 170 pounds in 2016. Happy with what I have accomplished, even though it's taken MANY years, and I will be feel even better once I reach my goal. Then I will have to work hard to maintain that achievement!

Congrats on the loss! Stay on track and you will get there. I personally don’t think it matters how long it takes you to get there. I have been on this journey for 4 years. I have been losing weight since I was in my mid 20’s and losing it slowly this time has helped me keep with it. Every other time I lost a lot faster but was never able to keep it off.

Celebrating our NSV’s is just as important as celebrating our losses on the scale. You are going to have a busy fall.

    Good morning team!

    Here you go, Linda:

    PW: 278.4 lbs.
    CW: 278.8 lbs. (up 0.4 lbs. 🙁)

I keep bouncing around this 278 number. Need to break through this plateau.

I was bouncing around for a few weeks. This week I hope I am started on a downward trend again. Just stick with logging your food, staying within your calories and some exercise. The scale will cooperate soon.

So, so hopeful for you and that poor foot!! (And how is your dog by the way? As I recall, you were going to the vet a few weeks ago.)

    Steps for last week:

    8/21 Still no pedometer :(
8/22 Little blue pedometer! :) Go for an evening walk to break it in --> 6039

I did some mini walks yesterday. Not enough to give myself an exercise check. My granddaughter came over last night. I am taking her to the pool soon. No laps today but we will swim and play. I still get a good workout.

Have a great start to the week.

I have (and have had) a lot going on so I'm not really focused. I'm buckling down this week.
