My amazing husband made it to just over 12 miles! I'm so proud of him. But due to cramping and some other issues he had to stop. He is at home and resting. I'm proud of you Sugarboog!6

@19shmoo69 From your wife?
Hi friends, I'm heading out soon for the volunteer appreciation dinner. My cake turned out good and have the surprise gift ready to go once I get some items stashed in a car out when I get to the party to add in. I stayed home from the farm since I had this event tonight which was smart, got some things done around here and most of my tomatoes are out so I don't feel as panicked as I did yesterday. Have a great Sunday! It's weird working out now with all my disc issues compared to just having one or two discs I actually feel better than I did then but still can't wait to get this surgery done.2 -

@Katmary71 thanks for checking in!
I’m not feeling too bloated these days. Once in awhile a little hardness just under my ribs. But I am ready avoiding the gassy foods and eating small amounts. So far so good.3 -

Wow! What an amazing week!
I had set my goal of hitting 200 by Christmas. I am going to modify that to Halloween. But secretly I have my hopes up that it will happen this week.
I’m thrilled to report I am officially back to my pre-covid weight. I’m still obese. I still have far to go. But shedding the covid 25 feels like shedding the stress, depression and brain fog I’ve carried for the past 3+ years.7 -

@tammymcrady6278 Congrats on the loss! That's great that you didn't let the rain stop you. I hate taxes lol, taxes take half of my yearly bonus. Grrrh. Have a great day, Tammy!
@eagree Yeah, I signed up for the paid app for a while. It's great, too! That's cool that you get some mommy and son time on the treadmill. Great job! I love soups and stews in the cooler weather.
@Katmary71 Yeah, it's delicious but dangerous lol. Thank you! I hope the dinner went well. Yay for a delicious cake! I hope the surgery gives you some relief.
@19shmoo69 Wow, congrats!!! Great job, Darren. Or should I say, Sugarboog! LOL Seriously, I'm proud of you.
@megnolia82 Wow, congrats on the loss AND for reaching your pre-COVID weight, great job!
Hi all. I did not make it to the Fitness Lite class yesterday but I did quite a bit of walking so I don't feel badly. Did anyone get good pics of the eclipse yesterday? It was hazy/cloudy here, so I did not. We are going to the zoo this morning for member day: once a month, we get to go in one hour before the general public. That's nice this month because kids get in free in October so we'll cut down on the busyness a bit. Have a great day!

Not a great record, but that is the effect of Mexican food and hot wings on the same day. Bloat city, but it'll be gone in a few days.4 -

Great day today and I am pooped! Every year I go to the corn maze with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandkiddos,. When the kids were really little, we did a quick walkabout through half of the corn maze and we’re out of there, maximum two hours. Today my grandchildren are a wee bit older and we were there for five hours. The weather was great, there was lots to do and this grandma is very tired!
Super happy with my weigh in this morning, I know I can’t continue at this rate, but I will sure take it while I can!

@megnolia82 Wow that's a great loss, fingers crossed you hit it this month! Congrats on being pre-covid weight again, that's awesome.

@steffibabbiie @laurelfit57 @eagree Congratulations top winners!
Hi friends! The appreciation last night was fun, I have a week of free Vinyasa yoga classes and a gift card to Safeway, I'm planning to round up the gang that got the yoga gift cards once I'm doing better after surgery so we could do it together, I think it would be fun. I can't remember if I said anything in group about it but at Bow Wow Days I butt heads hard with a new volunteer, and told her if she insisted on having an attitude problem she could work by herself, weirdly ever since we've been getting along great ever since then so it's blown over, she's turning out to be one of my favorites in the group but I'm a little cautious since she can be real rude too. Anyhow it was a fun night. There was a man in the food bank farm at night last night when I drove by so I let the manager know, sounds like someone snuck in there so the hole in the fence will need to be repaired soon. Have an awesome Monday! I have a CT scan in the morning then I found an urgent care that will do the EKG and release me for surgery so “exciting” day tomorrow!3 -

I saw the Orthopedic specialist this week & they gave me a cortisone shot in my shoulder and referred me to physical therapy. That starts this week. They told me not to exercise in the meantime, so I'm mainly focusing on my steps.4 -

We are on vacation, in Pittsburg New Hampshire, way up north at the Canadian border. We drove all day yesterday to get here. The cabin is lovely and the view of the lake is spectacular.
Not much walking on Sunday, because of all the driving. Steps for Sunday, 9599. Can't put that in the spreadsheet with the phone, so I'll update my numbers in the spreadsheet when we get home on Thursday.
Rich wants to go back to Halloween Overload on Thursday, for the night show. Most nights they have actors dressed up in creepy costumes who step out of the shadows and scare the visitors. But Thursday night is Fright Night Light, light meaning not as scary. No actors. Just the lights, smoke, and creepy music.
We were there during the day on Saturday and got a look at the construction. Pretty impressive.
