Sorry for being late! It’s been a crazy week.
PW: 198.4
CW: 199.6
It’s all about the journey, not just the destination. I’ve been working hard on myself but if I am being honest it was not as good of a week as the previous weeks.1 -

@lauren_989 thank you very much. I really hope your hubby recovers soon xx0

Hahaha, when I woke up yesterday I thought it was Saturday!
I even felt relief that I could get a break from all the interviews I’ve had to give, then looked at my calendar and realized I had a full day booked from 10-3:30, straight interviews.
I’m so turned around I don’t even know 😂.

I ran out of time to eat my salad at lunch today. Do you ever get tired of chewing? lol…
It’s been a tough few weeks getting into F2F to check in with you all. I can feel you sitting on my shoulders, though, cheering (or egging) me on! Thank you for being here-I certainly need you!
I had a lovely visit with Liselyn (@jugar) today in Canada! It’s the first time I’ve been up there since before Covid-19 shut everything down. It was nice to share a meal with my niece and her boyfriend, plus my sister; then, I had fun meeting the most recent 4-legged member of the family - Jasper! What a kook! It was so fun watching them lunge Jasper in the outdoor ring. What a team!
More soon - by Monday for sure!
Xoxo

Late weigh in from Friday (hope it’s not too late)
PW 221.2
CW 220.1
My granddaughter’s 6th birthday party is today at a park.( @jugar Remember when she was a baby?) So I will get some movement in. I have some girlfriends coming over Monday. And I have two interviews on Tuesday.
I like the prolog idea. I need something.
That would be Pre log. 😂

Good morning! It was fun indeed having a visit with my fab sister @EvMakesChanges - and Jasper always loves meeting new friends. He's got a great happiness motor on him, that's for sure. It has been a rough few weeks with dad passing away and my husband down with pneumonia, but having both my daughter and my sister here together was the best possible antidote. Today we'll have a quiet day with my daughter and her partner. Music will be played (I have this song that daughter's SO has to work on with me ), veg and stuff will be grilled, and the sun is shining.
But first, the tallies! If there are any last-minute weigh-ins, get them in within the next 30 minutes
PS - yes! I remember when your granddaughter was a baby @micki48 -- HOW ON EARTH is she turning SIX??? Wow. Have a great time, and I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday. Let that gorgeous glow you have shine right through, and you'll wow the heck out of them.3 -

Congratulations to our own @StayFITTer ! Top loser of all the teams All 3 of our winners this week were above 1% (but not too crazy far!) and I'm rooting on all of you to have another good week to finish off the month.
I managed to fit in some good hard work in the garden today - it is slowly getting ready to do all the bigger planting. My little salad garden is already done and coming along nicely, but the big one is now almost all tilled, fed, and fluffed. I'll start planting this week.
I'm heading out at 4:30 am tomorrow to bring my daughter and OH to Montreal to catch a plane back to Alberta. I'll miss them! It has been great having them around - except for all the great excuses to eat too much! Back on the straight and narrow this week, for sure
Have a beautiful holiday those of you in the US!2 -

We're ready to add some new faces to our teams for June! If you are already here, you do not need to sign up again You're here for the duration!2 -
I made it back home! The drive back today was easy, just long. I did not get many steps in, but hope to change that tomorrow. The wedding was fun, and it was great to see a lot of my family! Not many good food choices were made this weekend though 😕
Great job team for coming in second this week! Here is to finishing the month strong!3 -
@ashleycarole86 Thanks for the hard work you do behind the scene for the step challenge. It’s been cool journeying with you through Stridekick. What would you like to focus on in June to help you “tip the scales in your favor”?
@jugar Excited about your garden! I miss fresh veggies —it taste more rewarding! And honestly I didn’t see that top loser thing coming. In my brain I thought it would be considered as a 2lb weight loss since I was at 166 this month. But I like F2F math better lol 😂 I’ll trust the process
@lauren_989 Holidays and celebrations are tough when it comes to food choices and getting movement in! Here’s to the next play for both of us!

@jugar
I don’t understand why I don’t get tagged when I get quoted, but I wanted to say thank you for the encouragement and I will keep in mind to weigh-in the following day if I miss doing my Monday morning weigh-in.
Oh and @ddsb1111 if you think my steps and exercise are impressive, our teammates @Gidgitgoescrzy and @tlcjen12 are the ones to watch!StayFITTer wrote: »My apologies about the straggle. I’ll try not to make it a habit. I didn’t weigh myself first thing in the morning so this is what I got on a Monday midday. Trying to give myself grace with dealing with my job.
Keep moving forward. Keep showing up.
