Karen, you seem to travel everywhere!! Hope the herbalist helps you guys.
No walking for me today...total rest day.
I coughed a lot last night. Scrounged thru all my trays in the hall cupboards and found some cough drops this morning. They should help...I hope. I don't know where I got this cold. No family member has one. Maybe from my adventure to the grocery store. Anyway, my husband has changed his mind about getting our groceries delivered after I said that!! Yeah! I'll order Tuesday for delivery! :)
I'll see my trainer tomorrow afternoon.
Husband has to go to the DMV to renew his license on Tuesday. He must take the test. He'll do just fine.
    I must read now.
    Later, my friends.

Chris you are an amazing walker. So do you wipe down all your deliveries? Still following Covid protocols now?

Karen so glad you will get a break from travel. Will Bella be doing the cleanse with you? I have never done one.

Kathy that is wonderful you donating clothing. Cut out the clutter for new dresses. I wish you could be here with me also. That class would be so fun then. I will post photos of the new tank and set up.

I finished another challenge and can start our new one on Tuesday. Tomorrow is the YMCA class then a stretch.

Thanks, Shelley! And, No...I don't wipe down our deliveries anymore. Do you still do it?
We had Collin Duty this morning. I took him on a short stroller ride, got home and tried to put a pillow under his head and he woke up!!! UGH!
I had my trainer for a 60 min workout then made a Raley's order!! I'll make soup tomorrow or Wed.
I'm going to walk tomorrow because we won't be having the boys at all. Ronan isn't feeling well. :( Pat has the DMV tomorrow and it will be easier for SIL to just keep the boys.
It's 90 degrees right not!! Tomorrow is supposed to get to 99 degrees...I must walk early!!

Chris I was not very good at following quarantine procedures ever. We do try to go shopping during slow times. And I still work. So it wouldn’t matter. Still around lots of people everyday. And now I am going to the gym twice awee

Monday was a neck stretch, which felt so good I may have to do it every day, an abs workout and a walking workout.

Karen please share information on the 6 week cleanse. A cleanse would be great after vacation.

Shelley, I try to figure out when the shelves and vegetables/fruit get re-stocked and order then. Sometimes it works and sometimes...nopey, nope!!
I read symptom of Covid vs Allergies...My cough and runny nose fell under Covid, so I had Pat test me...I'm negative!!! I think it's a cold and I hope it's all gone by my doctor's appt on the 20th. Have I ever bellyached about hating to have to go in to see the doctor?? Man, oh man!! I do not want to go in... :'(
We didn't have the boys this morning, so I walked to the post office and back before temps hit 103 degrees!!! It was sunny and warm and a bit of a breeze. 5.43 miles in 117 mins.
Ronan is feeling much better and is playing with Grandpa now.
Just finished making a pot of soup and now it's time to read!!

Kathy I am praying this is all she needs. I am glad you had a rest. We need them.

I did a quick ab workout tonight. Still have some earwigs. But not to bad yet. Fingers crossed.

The gym is working. Well at least I am sore. Thank goodness I am doing FitOn with Kathy. I couldn’t have made it otherwise.

Friday was a full body stretch, 15 minute walking workout and a 15 minute full body strength workout. Today was housework and laundry while getting ready to pack for the girl’s trip to Panama. Excited to see the Panama Canal and tour the city. My brother was stationed there in the early part of his Air Force career. We leave on Thursday. I really need a little r&r.

Hope everyone enjoys Father’s Day. I miss my Dad so much.

Today was a rest day. We had company over for Prime rib roast. It was delicious. They have a little girl. She is so adorable.

Shelley - Bella won't be doing the cleanse likely...but for sure will benefit because we will be. They have small goals around health....TBH I'm quite concerned. They have a lot.or resources available to them.

I will for sure share the info. My herbalist (Kim) is sending me some detailed info next week and I will post.

It's been a whirlwind. ...on our way to Virginia....2 hours to go (out of 6).... beautiful weather . I need a vacation desperately. We are all looking forward to a great week....weather is supposed to good...fingers crossed. It rained the whole week last year . We still had fun....but didn't get our hike in...which I hope we do this year. We are close to Shenandoah National Park...will probably do it tomorrow so we don't miss it if the weather turns...

You are all doing so well! I hope to follow...

Up this morning early since got in a couple of workouts. A bodyweight full body workout, a low impact full body cardio workout with upper body intervals and 30 mins on the recumbent. Getting in a little more cardio to stay in the 160s.

Karen what a beautiful family photo. Have fun in Virginia.

Shelley we all need a rest day. I hope you enjoyed your company.

Karen I second the photo. Beautiful. Have a great time at the park. I don’t believe I have ever been there. YellowStone National Park is near me. It is beautiful. Mount Rushmore is not to far.

Kathy you will do great. Don’t burn yourself out though. You sure nailed it though.

I got up and saw Kathy had worked out. Inspired I did also. Got in a body weight workout. And then a walking workout. Really liked that one. My son and his family came by. We had a nice visit and early dinner. Our daughter came by later.

It was a lovely day. I so enjoy this time of the year.

Chris I love days like that. Just enjoy while we have them. Great walk. Sorry there were so many interlopers cluttering your walk. Hope you had a great workout.

Upper body at the gym tonight. Then I stuck around for one round of Zumba.

Today I was able to place my order for some fish. These are all really like minnows. Tiny little fish bred in captivity. So sustainable. If I can remember this is what I was able to get. Paula if you see this have fun looking them up. Yellow Tang. Mandarin gobies. File fish. Yellow watchman. Purple Masked angel. Skilletfish I am missing someone. Oh well

Yesterday was a 20 minute arms strength workout and 30 minutes on the recumbent.

Today I’m going to get nails done and taking mom with me so we can spend time together. She always gets nervous when I take a trip so I do everything to assure her I will be back and she will have a good time with my sister. She’s just so use to me and we have a routine. The good thing is my sister stays with her here at my house. Familiar territory. To be honest leaving her is hard for me as well…makes me nervous. But the break will do me good.

Good morning ladies! Yesterday was our first full day here in Virginia and we went to the University of Virginia campus to the beautiful chapel there as well as Thomas Jefferson's Rotunda (on campus) which he created as the center of education. He definitely had a vision. I have a real mixed perspective on Jefferson given his ownership of slaves. We toured Monticello last year and did the enslaved people's tour which was just both wonderful and devastating at the same time. I think he got it right when he built the University of Virginia though.

I did wind up getting 10,000 steps in which was great. Today we plan on going to Shenandoah national Park which is only an hour from here and doing the hike. Jim is really struggling with his leg. Not sure what's going on but it keeps having weakness in his leg. He's been to doctors and physical therapy and it just doesn't seem to get better. So we will probably wind up doing a smaller hike, but a hike nonetheless :-)

Beautiful morning here with unbelievable colors over the mountains. Quite foggy now so we will not leave until the fog lifts. It's about 5 mi up this mountain on twist and turns so no way I'm driving that :-)

Great job with your exercise ladies!

    Have a great day!

Kathy, good workout!! Hope your nail experience was fun!!
Karen, beautiful pictures! Nice steps, too!!
Today I put the house together for our housekeeper. Ronan came over to play with Grandpa. And I just sat here and read!! Must walk to the post office tomorrow. My trainer is out of town tomorrow and Friday...must get some steps in!!

    Hi Shelley,

Here are your fish pics. Gorgeous, amazing. I hope they bring you lots of joy. Is the skilletfish a glass cleaner?

Kathy I understand how you feel. Leaving a loved one that is fragile is hard to do. Worrying is natural and warranted. Have a good time and hurry back to her.

Karen I love twisting mountain roads. But Rocky doesn’t like when I drive them. I do get into them a bit. Hope hubby has that leg led at. Have a great trip. I try not to over think a lot that went on during slavery. There were a lot of gray lines. That is a slippery slope. Sadly it still goes on today.

Chris you know you will get in some steps. Like lots of them. Have fun

Paula I am not really sure about the skillet fish. But I think it looks really interesting. And the angel looks so pretty. I was going for interesting and peaceful. And of course colorful. There are a couple more I want to add. A royal gramma and purple fire fish. Still havea baby one spot foxface in quarantine. And the butterfly fish.

Got in a short ab workout with FitOn today after the Commissioners meeting.
