    Good job, ladies!!
Headed out to the post office this morning...it was beautiful out there...lots of folks walking...BUT GUESS WHAT?...it's a holiday for the post office, so it was all closed up!!...AND the mail box in front has a note on it stating that the box is broken and DO NOT put your mail inside!!! bwahahahah! I came home with my mail!
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, so I'm not sure what will happen after. I'll keep you posted on that. Maybe Friday for the post office.
    I did 5.44 miles in 115 mins.
Today is Pat's birthday...we went over to the kids for lunch and to celebrate b'day and Father's Day. It was fun.

Shelley, Thanks! I laughed for a bit...I'd read the day before that the banks and post office would be closed. I forgot about all of it because I was so excited to to get a walk done!
Pat took my blood pressure this morning...before coffee...and I was pretty normal...almost. We'll see how my doctor's appt goes. Must get cleaned up now.
    Back later.

Congratulations to you, too, Kathy. I may not mention it much, but it's such a thrill watching your weight get healthier and healthier. It must feel really satisfying.

Paula, all the pictures are so cool!! Especially Royal Gramma!!!
    Kathy, Great job!!
Doctor's appt went great! HOWEVER...nobody knew why I had the appt!! I had ordered a medicine that I'd gotten during my last bout with covid, it helped my cough...the doc had to approve the request...he approved it and the next thing I knew they had scheduled an appt. I get there and nobody knows why... :D It's okay. The appt was quick. I do have to go back in for a blood draw which we'll do tomorrow morning. There were tooooo many people waiting in line for their blood draws when we left.
I was also told by Ronan that when you get your blood drawn that you had to bring home donuts for everyone! We'll be doing that tomorrow morning!! :D

Paula I am so happy for you. You are doing great. Congratulations keep going.
The butterfly fish I have is the Copperband. It is the one you have 4 of. I still need to get the firefish.

Chris I love doughnuts. Need to have my blood drawn soon.

We worked on the floor where the tank is going. Was more work than planned. Rocky cut the section we were taking out. Sadly we had glued it down when we built the addition 17 years ago.

Shelley, Libby is so cute!! Glad she approved. Looks like a lot of work to me!!
Got blood draw done...even early this morning there were a lot of folks waiting for their turn when we got there.!! The sugar rush I got with the donuts was amazing!! Haven't had that much all at one time in a very long time... :#
I have to figure out if I can walk this weekend...we have the little ones tomorrow morning at 7:30..the big kids have eye appts at 8:00a.m. Don't know how long that will take them or how hot it will be by the time they p/u the boys. Sunday is Ronan's first baseball game. I am staying home with Bean. The game is at 10:15 a.m. They are dropping Bean off at 9:30. EGADS, MAN!!! Still thinking about it...

I didn’t get to the gym at the resort yesterday but I got in 14,281 steps on Friday. I got up early to walk on the beach and see the sunrise. Panama Canal and city tour today. Here’s a few photos.

    Beautiful, Kathy!! Looks like fun!
We had both boys and Bean this morning while Sara & Pete went for their eye appts. Ronan stayed and is playing with Grandpa. We will head over to his house in a little bit to watch them again while S&P take Bean to the vet. He's not eating and looks like his hips are hurting a lot. We'll see. So no walking for me. Tomorrow looks like it's in question cuz I have Bean during Ronan's ball game starting at 10:15. Depending how hot it is when Pat gets home from the game if I can get out there, or if I can get up at 6:00 a.m. and get out the door by 7:30...bahahahah! just kidding!! We'll see.

Kathy I can’t believe there is a seing on the beach. So fun. Love the photos. Have fun. I worked on things for my aquarium. So no workout.

Chris I hope Bean is well. Hips are a pain no matter who we are.

Tile is all laid. Maybe we can bring in the aquarium tomorrow

We have Bean right now. The kids are on their way to Disneyland. We'll have him the entire week. The vet suggested an added indigence for his dog food...he loves it! He'll be getting a shot every two months to help with his arthritis.
I'm making soup now. It was too hot out there when Pat got home from Ronan's game...no walking for me...I wasn't going to leave Bean home alone. Poor guy is sad enough he's not with his people. :(
My trainer has covid again...her third time...so no workout for me until Friday. She and I are tied, tho, with how many times we each have had it! EGADS, man!!!
I'm going to the post office tomorrow morning...EARLY!!!!

Oh wow Chris. That is a lot of Covid. Poor Bean. I bet he misses the boys. But I know you will spoil him.

Today was tank move day. It is in the house on its stand. Partially filled with water. We should be able to do a leak test starting tomorrow after the gym. r4rpyhoglqzq.jpeg

We had to shim it some. So I will use some water proof caulking around the bottom of the stand. Won’t notice it at all once the new carpet is laid.

Yesterday I was feeling pretty good about my movement for the morning. Checked my watch for my steps. Dead! I must not have set it on its charger correctly Friday night. Bummer.

Walked to the post office and back...5.52 miles in 110 mins. Must remember to eat before I walk...most important especially in the heat!! I plan to walk tomorrow. Now I'm gonna read!!

Shelley - I'm with you...I can't believe we are at the end of June!

I started a 6 week cleanse yesterday with my husband. His doctor thinks he has insulin resistance which is keeping him from losing weight. He needs to with his knee and hip issues. I don't want him to do it alone (and frankly...I REALLY need a reset.) So no alcohol, low carb, no dairy for 59 more days! Yesterday went well. Tough time of the year to do this, but no time like the present right?

Of course...I am challenged with a work happy hour/going away party tonight LOL. I packed a healthy dinner and will eat it before I go...and seltzer and lemon will be my drink of choice :)

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Good job, Kathy!!
I didn't walk this morning. My bad. I must do it tomorrow morning. Get up and go before it gets hot.
Must start getting my steps in on the four days I don't have my trainer. Ugh!
One of my blood tests didn't come back within the acceptable range. Must cut sugar and carbs...sigh...Fine.

Back at it. A 16 min daily yoga stretch, a 24 min fat burn cardio session and 30 min on recumbent bike. Enjoyed Panamá and the ladies. It was 18 of us. Walked the beach a lot to make up for the drinks. The food was only okay so I didn’t over indulge. Five days were perfect. I was ready to get back to mom.

Karen I hate missing sleep. Kathy suffers from lack of sleep regularly. Hope tonight is better.

Kathy did you get a group photo? Glad you had a great time.

Paula you met your goal. Great accomplishment.

Chris a bungee. What a novel idea. My entire crew was helping find my phone. My Apple Watch connects with it whenever I am within 20 feet. Only connected in our basement. But no one could find it. And I knew I had left it on the fourth floor. We finally realized it was in the janitors room directly above us. They must had put i there for safe keeping.

Didlegs today. Walking lunges and lots of other exercises. Pretty neat.

Shelley - Glad you found your phone. It is like losing an appendage isn't it :-) lol

Happy to be working from home today. My yoga studio is actually offering an aqua yoga class at our local pool at lunch time. Looks like my schedule will allow me to go. It sounds like so much fun so I'm really excited. Some of the women that I spoke to who went last week said it was a blast.

Well this is my first week of doing a cleanse. No alcohol, relatively low carbs, and high protein. I definitely lost the few pounds from vacation which is good. Just getting my groove again eating really high protein. Bought some high quality protein shakes to really help. I've been doing one of those a day which has been I think helpful.

Going to try to take a quick walk here before I start my morning meetings. Hope everybody has a great Friday!

Shelley...yes, bungee!! I think it will help!!
Karen, I hope you had fun at aqua yoga.
I met with my trainer today for a 60 min workout this afternoon. I missed her. She is okay now. I sure hope she stays that way. ugh!

Karen glad you are in the grove again. Enjoy your yoga class.

Chris I am glad you have her healthy again. That Covid is awful.

Busy day. My baby fish arrived. Some were very tiny. Like so small they will not go into the new tank for a long time.
