    I ran a 5k run along with some walking on the treadmill. After that, I went grocery shopping and made a lentil salad thing and boiled some eggs for lunch for a few days this week. And then I did nothing for the rest of the day. It was nice to have some lazy time this weekend, although I did get bored for a little bit.

    Have a good day, everyone

    @CasandraW It's good to have you back. Completely understand the struggle of not being able to eat and then overeat. A month of saying goodbye sounds very draining, though I am glad you hosted a celebration of life. In my opinion that is the best way to start healing from a huge loss. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you! <3
    @DaffyGirl88 I feel you on that. Cleaning/vacuuming is just as useless! Maybe you can put your tracker around the shovel for better results, lol. :D

    @Pupowl that sounds like cheating LOL Like strapping it to your ankle when riding a stationary bike. :D I checked the list of possible exercises available and snow skiing and snow shoeing were there, but snow shoveling was not. I think they're missing out on a large market. LOL

    Well, this is the only way I get steps in winter; riding my recumbent bike and putting my tracker around my ankle - today n WI it's only 17° with lake effect snow we are .5mi from the lake and my husband does the snow blowing so this is how I get my steps in some days

    Good morning everyone!

    Monday steps

    It took me three trips outside to shovel to a) finish the driveway and b) get all of my steps, but I did it! Woot!

    @Pupowl I don't think I like your mom's partner either. 😡

    I slipped in an extra walk to take the boys to swing at the park. They enjoyed it a lot, which was a nice break from their crankiness that was there for most of the day.

    I also went to the gym at night. I ran a 5k, which was the 3rd in a row, out of my goal of 7 days straight. The gym was crazy busy still from all of the resolutioners. I could barely find parking but luckily could find an open treadmill.

    We have physical and speech therapies for the boys today so I won't have as much time for walks. I'm going to really focus on my diet today. I've fallen into the snack habit again. It's not because of hunger. I think it comes from boredom. Maybe a bit of stress eating in there as well. I need to get it under control.

    Have a good day, everyone!

    @izzyred9400 thank you for sharing about your mom and I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t visit this year.
    I keep telling people not to live with regret. I did lots with my mom, I know she loved me and I know she knows how much we loved her. My sadness is for the future we will not have, not for the past at all.
    There are others in her life that are dealing with regret, they didn’t make time, or make a point to care. I’m very glad I will not have to live with that.
