Hey dcmat I'm glad it wasn't more serious. I hope you aren't too sore tomorrow though.:flowerforyou: I know you won't let it keep you off the road anyway.Love to see all the updates!!! Still a few people that have yet to report any miles though....might be time for me to make some rounds....
   I soooooo this!!!   This is too cute!
Glad you're here to take care of us Dave!
bunnybutler Love the quote on your profile. Of course my husband thinks I'm nuts for laughing so hard at the computer.
Hey Speedy, thanks for reminding us that getting out in the cold and snow is great! (although, if I ever get a chance to visit Dino's part of the world I will happily give it up for awhile  ) I went out walking today while our weather was changing over from freezing rain to snow. The neighbors might think I'm odd:huh: but it felt great. Had snow frozen in my hair when I got home but didn't feel cold at all.
vhuber glad to see you're still moving while you can. Take care of that cough and I hope your surgery goes well and you are up and moving again as quickly as safely possible. :flowerforyou:

This is my first time in this challenge. I think I set my goal too high but I will know better the next month.
Dec 06 walked 7.12 K
Dec total to date 39.13 k
!60.87 k left to go.
Dec 05 was my best day since I started MFP 11.58 K and for the first time went over 20 thousand steps on my fitbit. Total steps for the day was 20492. When I started in May getting 5 thousand steps in a day was an accomplishment.0 -
You need some yaktrax Dave, they work pretty awesome.
...unless you forget to take them off when you go into the market, then...you fall on your *kitten* in the middle of the produce aisle and knock the apple display over. :blushing:0 -

This was me one morning...walking a 15 minute mile...all bundled up because it is freezing outside...no rain...no snow...some guy just had to water his lawn at 5:00 in the morning...water ran onto the sidewalk...black ice...step up from the crosswalk...a flying fanny fall, sliding down the hill yelling "oh, *kitten*...oh, *kitten*.." Not very lady-like. Nothing hurt but my pride! Then I had laughed at what it must have looked like. It might have helped me get my four miles done in under an hour though!!
Hope everyone has a great Saturday. It's beautiful and cold outside. I might just bundle up and take my grandpuppy for a walk.

@ Chris - I was laughing out loud when I read that. I had images of the kid from "A Christmas Story" all bundled up and unable to get up after getting knocked down.
@ Dave and Janet - Thanks again for keeping up on the spreadsheet.
Logged another 15 miles this morning. That's That's 91 our of 300.

KATHUGGS - Way to go with your run streak! :drinker:
CPANUS - Oh my gosh, Chris!! That sounds like it could have ended really awful!! :noway: Glad you were okay enough to continue on!!! :flowerforyou: I'm *shaking my head* why someone was watering their lawn when the temp was so close to freezing though.
It's sunny, clear and -7F here this morning. If it was just me, I'd go run outside, but my son is whining to go to the gym instead. I don't think I care enough to disagree with him this time.:laugh::laugh: Stay warm, everyone!
Dave
