It's colder & darker (less day-light) now in NH and will be that way for a few months, which means the long rides and runs have come to a close for the season . . . However, there will be more spinning, swimming and even some "Freeze Your Buns" series runs this winter. *and some skiing too.
Going to set my goal at 65 miles for December.
Dec. 2nd: 12 miles (*Spin*)
Dec. 2nd: 15 miles (*Spin*)
Dec. 11th: 6 miles (*Elliptical*)
Dec. 13th: 12 miles (*Spin*)

I re-injured my knee last week. It's just a minor PCL problem, but it was swollen all weekend and off and on during this week. I stayed away from the treadmill, but kicked my own *kitten* on the Arc Trainer. It was hard work and distance didn't pile up like I'm used to on the treadmill, but I was able to add another 3 miles - 1.5 per go. I think I'm still on pace though, especially when I can get back on the 'mill!

Not quite mid December but i am over halfway - so this is a good thing!

Struggled to even get 2.25 miles walking yesterday :frown: . It is OK....today will be better.

I really didn't expect the miles to build this quickly and thought I would be struggling to make the 60 miles this month (I wasn't trying to underestimate- I guess I never really added up my daily totals enough to realize how far I went each month, although I am probably moving a little more than normal because I joined the challenge. Been MIA the past 4 days. Pulled my hamstring a bit on my long run last Sunday - did slip on wet pavement coming down a hill but I hoped it would just go away and finished my run. By Monday it was pretty stiff. So I rested. Starting back slow with walking, still want to keep on with my goal for December if I can.
