....and with this update......*drum roll*......KATHYFLANNERY129 and SPRALE have both made their monthly GOAL!!! CONGRATS!!! :drinker::drinker::drinker:

SCARFE9991 - Congrats on your running streak!

KENINF - Glad your computer is back among the living and you're back online!

TAXMOM9093 - Yay, you made your post before I finished updating this time!:bigsmile:

Okay.....sooooo....I went to the gym to get a run in tonight. I was a little over 2 miles in and everything felt more awesome than it had in a long time. I was fluid and moving at a decent clip (for me). I was just about ready to bump the speed up. And then I got this little annoying pain in my left hip...something was tightening up. I put some pressure on it with my fingers and it helped briefly...until it came back. Rather than listening and slowing or walking, I stubbornly tried to keep going. And then that's when I heard a *POP* and I collapsed onto the handrails in pain. And now I'm going to be taking a couple of days of forced rest. Seriously bummed. My running has been going so well. Went home and after feeling fairly certain that I had not torn or seriously ripped anything and paced the hall trying to see if I could get it loosened up. It took a while, but there was some progress. I'm sure it'll tighten up overnight and hurt like mad tomorrow, but I'll survive I suppose. Just shoot me.

SOOOOOO....all of you should learn from my foolish, bullheadedness. LISTEN TO YOUR BODIES. Be careful not to ignore pain and try pushing through it. :noway:

Time to hit the pillow. Gnight all. Hope your days were good.

I'm waaaaayyy behind, but I'm still moving even though I haven't been around for the last few days. :ohwell:
This morning, even though I've been up 'til 5am working, I needed a break. So I went out for a
4 mile run this morning. No watch, no HRM, on earphone... took it easy. I could have go on
forever! What a beautiful snowy morning!

I'm back home, ready to work... Again! but in a much better mindset!
So I'm adding 4 walking miles Tuesday & 4.3 yesterday yesterday, plus this morning.

    exercise.png

I hope I'll able to catch up with all of you guys soon! But you seem to be doing great! Keep that up @ss Movers!

Only exception: Dave! Better take it easy for a few days... man that sounds painful!!! :frown: If you have a foam roller, might want to try use it. it could help... :ohwell:
