    You're in our thoughts and prayers Syd :heart: hang in there :flowerforyou:

    YEEEEESSSSSS BRONCOS,!!!!!

    Yes I'm a Packers fan but obviously they didn't make it and I've never been a huge fan of the Patriots so I was rooting for the Broncos. Also since I'm a Packers fan I'm currently rooting for the Seahawks. You might think it was the Packers playing the way I'm swearing/yelling/clapping at he tv.

    Got lots of cleaning done today and just got done with a work out, my back isn't too happy about it but I sure am :smile:

    I can't believe football is almost over :cry: the after football blues are so much worse than the after holiday blues :frown:

    We hosted the neighbors for the game yesterdayand SOMEONE(me) came up with the idea to do a shot every time we scored.. Needless to say, I feel like *kitten* today.

    Extraordinary, that sounds like a wonderful way to make watching football even more fun!!! Drink lots of orange juice today! It always helps me...and Sprite!

    Mama Lush, congrats on your Broncos going to the Superbowl! I bet you are one happy woman!

    Kat, I'm very, very happy the Seahawks won last night, but oh my...that Sherman guy?! WTF?! He just sounded like a fool after the game, but it was a great play!

    Had a pretty great weekend. Drank too much Friday night, drank only 2 beers on Saturday & then last night I had 1 small glass of wine and then 2 Shock Tops. Tonight...hopefully 0, but I'll see how I feel when I get home!

    Hey lushes...I am on the home stretch of JSNJ with only 1 more night of sober bowling.

    I started training for the 1/2 marathon. My sister talked me into doing the one in Chicago because we have others that we know doing it. I really wanted to go somewhere fun but this will definitely be cheaper. Right now, I am at about a 14-15 minute mile which would take me 3.3 hours to do. Obviously, I have a lot of work ahead of me. My goal will be a sustained 11-minute mile since I would like to finish between 2 and 2 1/2 hours. What the hell did I get myself into?

    Syd, I am so sorry about your dad's wife. Thinking of you Sweetie!!! xoxoxo

    Had a fabulous weekend! Friday night we went down the shore, picked up a 6pk, a pizza and a movie....We are the Millers....it was hysterical! Had 2 1/2 beers and hit the hay early.
    Saturday we visited with his gmom for a few hours. Stopped at the liquor store on the way home and polished off a bottle of vodka and a bottle of wine. I felt like crap yesterday morning but once I got moving I was good. We bottled our beers and drank some beers too!!! I have about 4 1/2 beers yesterday.
    We bottle a Double Brown Ale...we tasted it before we bottled it and holy crap is it delicious...even warm and uncarbonated. I can not wait until its ready to drink. We added cocoa nibs and coffee to it...LOVE :heart:
    Probably nothing for the next couple of days...mainly because we have nothing and I don't wanna spend any money!!

    Let me recap last week. Didn't finish as strong as I'd like, but I am alsmot through January and I have not been blackout drunk, dreadfully hungover, which is my main goal. No sloppy drunk here! :drinker:

    Monday - 0
    Tuesday - 3
    Wednesday - 3
    Thursday - 5
    Friday - Eric went to his semi-usual Friday beer tasting after work so I drank about half a bottle of wine. Then some more once he got home. I was trying to finish Flowers in the Attic before the LIfetime movie premier of the remake Saturday. (It was cheese as aniticipated). So I kept drinking and reading. I opened the second bottle of wine and calculate I had 7 glasses (this by my new 5oz standard). So 7

    Saturday - 3 glasses of wine
    Sunday - a beer

    TOTAL 21. So 1 more than last week instead of 1 less. Didn't meet my goal, but not awful.

    Monday - 2.5 glasses of wine
    I going to try to get some 0's this week. Maybe tonight and Wednesday so I can try again for a 19 for the week.

    Syd, hope you are feeling better....

    Kate, score on working from home!!

    Ashley, great job on not getting schnockered. I did on Saturday - way too much vodka. I couldn't remember the ending of the night. :blushing:

    Another 0 last night - and, good news is that I am at 4 days of drinking vs. the 5 I thought. Plus, one of the nights was only 1 glass of wine.

    Another 0 for tonight is planned...I would think the scale would move faster but my liver and blood sugars are probably in shock :ohwell:

    Amy, do hubs have any youtube videos for us to check out?? Have fun at the concert!

    I don't think he has anything public, I will ask him!

    P!nk had awesome show! She is a great performer, I would see it again...

    So,
    Friday=4 drinks
    Saturday=0 drinks
    Sunday=6 drinks
    Monday=1 drink

    this week, I think Thursday and Saturday will be my only drinking nights. I have an early training thing on Saturday so I am planning on not drinking Friday. Sun-Tues I am going to try a cleanse, it's not too extreme, just no alcohol, no caffeine, no red meat...

    I think last week I pretty much had about 10 oz of wine a day. Except Sunday I had a bit more....

    I think after not being able to drink for 9 months I have no desire to cut myself off from booze yet. At least breastfeeding keeps me under control :wink:

    Proud of myself...... I had a pretty nasty city council meeting last night. I was sure I was going to drink when I got home. No wine. No beer I like. Didn't feel like making a dirty martini or drinking a dark and stormy. I made some apple tea and put a little Dumante (pistacio liquer) in it. Drank maybe a quarter and gave it to Eric. So 0.

    Monday - 2.5
    Tuesday - 0

    Planning on a 0 tonight. Probably half a bottle of wine Thursday and maybe a little more Friday. My daughter turns 2 Saturday and I have a lot of party prep to do Saturday, so no hangovers for me!

    Pulled another 0 last night and planning another for tonight. Although, I have to teach God tonight and it will make me thirsty. You should have heard our last lesson about music and lyrics. So, then we discuss how music can influence behavior and the kids were like "you might kill someone". So, then, I say "Well, I highly doubt that many of you will kill someone; but, most of you will probably have sex." Boom, all heads shake no, and you could hear a coin drop. Ha, ha.

    The scale budged even tho I am still in uncharted high numbers. I have a doc appointment in March and I'll be damned if my cholesterol and BP numbers don't improve. I am way to young for this ****.

    Monday - 1 beer
    Tuesday - 2 beers, and 2 V8 Diet Splash & Smirnoff Sorbet Light Vodka
    Wednesday - I will have a 0!!

    I received my Fitbit Force in the mail last night & I'm already slightly obsessed with it! I've done 16 flights of stairs this morning & I'm up to 2,500+ steps already!! It is kind of fun!!

    Tuesday=0 drinks

    I think I will be able to do 0 tonight.

    I want to stick with the programs but it would be nice if the scale was being a little bit supportive!

    And I'm hopging for.....
