Still on the couch and sick....I have my bell in hand, but nobody brings me hot chicken noodle soup when I ring it. :noway: And I still have to drive myself to the store to get some more Nyquil 'n stuff cuz I'm out. I think my bell might be broken. :laugh::bigsmile:

So. Lets get serious now. I'm WAYYYYYY behind, and I probably won't reach my goal (but the month is still young), since I still can't run for another few days - my right ankle is still painful... But that's ok. I'd rather let it rest, than going back running too soon. I probably would have been able to go out for a run this morning, but Saturday morning, when I woke up I banged my toes (yes, of the right foot) really hard into the wall :sad: :sad: :sad: And believe me, I felt that in my ankle, and all the way up into my knee. My mommy would have been so mad :blushing: ... all the things that I've... said . :grumble: :mad: :explode: :devil: :devil: :devil:
5 minutes were necessary for me to recover from the pain. Geez it was painful. So I guess that didn't help for the recovery...:noway:
So anyway, I'm here to update my very low mileage :laugh:

Thanks again to everyone for all the well wishes! I stayed home from work today to continue resting and I think I've turned the corner and just about have this kicked. Haven't had to take hardly any meds today and I didn't feel too horrible. Hoping to be even more normal tomorrow. :flowerforyou:

Uh, I uh ... took a mental health day last night. I was long overdue for one. The three-in-a-rows can be a killer, I should not do as many but the weekend $ is nice. Friday was Valentine's day - my least favorite holiday, but happily I was able to not snack on any of the many goodies and pizza people brought, other than a Dove Chocolate square that my patient's mother offered - all 44 calories enjoyed and logged. I took the rest of the candy she had and practically gave to me, and passed it out, saying "yes you can have 2 pieces" to the skinny coworkers. :devil:

2/17 - Honestly, I forgot to look at my mileage when I ended spin class (this is not a unit I am used to checking, yet).
I usually go about 20 miles, but this class was more intense hills, so I'm just making an educated guess that I went at least 16.2 miles for today. I'm sure I went more, but I"m going to call it good with 16.2.

So, work is still kicking my butt. Unfortunately, that doesn't come with enough moving it. :frown: Only added 4.25 miles since the 13th.:grumble: Sigh....This will not keep me down forever.
