    Sandy's May Challenge activity
    Day :
    1- walking 30 min, stretching 30 min
    2- dancing 20 min, stretching 30 min
    3- Walking 30 min, stretching 30 min
    4 - Walking 30 min, stretching 30 min
    5 - Dancing 45 min, stretching 30 min, Walking - meandered about in the woods- time?
    6 - Work day! On the go the whole day -The only time I sit is to drive or eat. Stretching 30 min.
    7 - Work day! Busy day, walking 3 hrs, stretching 30 min
    8 - Dancing 40 min, stretching 30 min
    9 - walking 45 min, stretching 30 min
    10 -Dancing 45 min, running around outside in the rain with my arms stretched out singing " Its raining, its poring, the old man is snoring " 3 min - Lol! Stretching 30 min.

    12- not feeling well just stretched 30 min
    13- Work day. On my feet most of day, stretching 30 min
    14- Work day - On feet most of day, stretching 30 min
    15- Dancing 30 min, stretching 30 min

    Karen, Thank you for starting this challenge. Just what I needed.

    May 1: I posted this as 20 minutes of dog walking. Actually the goats got out of the pen and I was chasing them around to catch them and get them back in the pen.

    May 2: Gardening 60 minutes
    May 3- Dancing 10 minutes
    May4-Housecleaning 20 minutes
    May5- Walked around several stores while shopping approximately 30 minutes, then went out to a farm to buy plant starts and walked around the farm for about 30 minutes. It was beautiful although I could have done without the rain.
    May 6-Walked around the grocery store, vacuumed the house and chased my grandkids. Not sure how many minutes this added up to but it was definitely more than five.
    May 7-Walked around yard approx. fifteen minutes
    May 8-Traveling. walked around rest stops at driving breaks. more than fifteen minutes
    May 9- Went to the casino and walked around off and on for a couple hours, then walked around the hospital for a couple of hours off and on, while sister had tests.
    May 10-not much walking today, but at least five minutes of fooling with the flowers and the yard.
    May 11-walked around the rest areas on the way home 15 min
    May 12-clean house for about 45 minutes
    May 13-gardening and weedeating, shoveling bark and digging holes
    May 14-walking around the property 15 minutes
    May 15-dental appointment ouch. Not much exercise walking around property about 10 minutes
    May 16-lots of gardening, shoveling bark, planting veg starts, repotting tomatoes and peppers most of the day

    May 2nd - Vomiting (does that count because I think my chest mussels would have something to say about it)

    May 1st - 30 minute slow walk
    May 2nd - 30 minute mixed walking
    May 3rd - 20 minute slow walk
    May 4th - 30 minute slow walk.
    May 5th - 30 minute mixed marching while doing laundry & 5 mins of stretches, wall press ups and bed sit ups. (also danced for 5 mins with my 5 year old son to some 90s british pop lol)
    May 6th - 30 mins chair yoga, 10 mins mid paced walking
    May 7th - at least 90 minutes of scrubbing floors by hand, cleaning the bathroom, moving furniture around and other spring cleaning joy....
    May 8th - 35 mins mixed walking
    May 9th - 30 mins walking
    May 10th - 15 mins playing football with my 5 year old, it's my off day.
    May 11th - 30 mins Yoga, 20 mins walking, uncounted minutes playing football and chase with my son
    May 12th - same as above lol
    May 13th - Migraine most of the day spent in bed, but managed 25 mins of slow walking still
    May 14th - Slept a lot again today, 20 mins of walking
    May 15th - Had a lot of energy today, guess I am better. 30 mins yoga and 25 mins of brisk walking outside.
    May 16th - Mixed walking for 30 minutes, 5 minutes of stretching
    May 17th - Mixed walking 25 mins, cleaning out my DH's closet, 30 minutes of yoga

    May 6-18 minutes Aerobic dancing
    May 7-5 minutes walking ( Will do better tmw!!
    May 8-20 minutes walking
    May 9-20 minutes walking
    May 10-20 minutes walking and we went and picked fresh Tomatoes from a U-Pick farm with the kids :) Now to figure out what to do with the 25 pounds of tomatoes!! lol
    May 11-20 minutes walking and was on my feet almost all day doing tomatoes!! Canning sauce and washing and freezing them!
    May 12- 10 minute walk...Did more tomatoes today so was on my feet a good while again.
    May 13-20 minute walk
    May 14 only got about 10 minutes walking in
    May 15 10 minutes walking
    May 16 20 minutes walking
    May 17 20 minutes picking blueberries in a field, 20 minutes picking corn in a field

    May 1st - 30 minute slow walk
    May 2nd - 30 minute mixed walking
    May 3rd - 20 minute slow walk
    May 4th - 30 minute slow walk.
    May 5th - 30 minute mixed marching while doing laundry & 5 mins of stretches, wall press ups and bed sit ups. (also danced for 5 mins with my 5 year old son to some 90s british pop lol)
    May 6th - 30 mins chair yoga, 10 mins mid paced walking
    May 7th - at least 90 minutes of scrubbing floors by hand, cleaning the bathroom, moving furniture around and other spring cleaning joy....
    May 8th - 35 mins mixed walking
    May 9th - 30 mins walking
    May 10th - 15 mins playing football with my 5 year old, it's my off day.
    May 11th - 30 mins Yoga, 20 mins walking, uncounted minutes playing football and chase with my son
    May 12th - same as above lol
    May 13th - Migraine most of the day spent in bed, but managed 25 mins of slow walking still
    May 14th - Slept a lot again today, 20 mins of walking
    May 15th - Had a lot of energy today, guess I am better. 30 mins yoga and 25 mins of brisk walking outside.
    May 16th - Mixed walking for 30 minutes, 5 minutes of stretching
    May 17th - Mixed walking 25 mins, cleaning out my DH's closet, 30 minutes of yoga
    May 18th - slow walking 35 mins
    May 19th - Day off
    May 20th - 35 mins of stretches and walking and a little running. Woohoo! (it was very little but still!)

    May 10-20 minutes walking and we went and picked fresh Tomatoes from a U-Pick farm with the kids :) Now to figure out what to do with the 25 pounds of tomatoes!! lol
    May 11-20 minutes walking and was on my feet almost all day doing tomatoes!! Canning sauce and washing and freezing them!
    May 12- 10 minute walk...Did more tomatoes today so was on my feet a good while again.

    Pat, I just have a lot of free time these days so I walk home from work and then sometimes get an extra walk in at night! Plus, I've been a little more active at work lately. Those steps during the day really add up. Prior to this month, I was probably getting something like 4,000 steps a day.
