Pat, I just have a lot of free time these days so I walk home from work and then sometimes get an extra walk in at night! Plus, I've been a little more active at work lately. Those steps during the day really add up. Prior to this month, I was probably getting something like 4,000 steps a day.
Makes me feel a little better, granted my walk to work consists of about 10 steps from the bed to the desk so i'm loosing something their.0 -

May 10-20 minutes walking and we went and picked fresh Tomatoes from a U-Pick farm with the kids Now to figure out what to do with the 25 pounds of tomatoes!! lol
May 11-20 minutes walking and was on my feet almost all day doing tomatoes!! Canning sauce and washing and freezing them!
May 12- 10 minute walk...Did more tomatoes today so was on my feet a good while again.

Karen, Thank you for starting this challenge. Just what I needed.
May 1: I posted this as 20 minutes of dog walking. Actually the goats got out of the pen and I was chasing them around to catch them and get them back in the pen.
May 2: Gardening 60 minutes
May 3- Dancing 10 minutes
May4-Housecleaning 20 minutes
May5- Walked around several stores while shopping approximately 30 minutes, then went out to a farm to buy plant starts and walked around the farm for about 30 minutes. It was beautiful although I could have done without the rain.
May 6-Walked around the grocery store, vacuumed the house and chased my grandkids. Not sure how many minutes this added up to but it was definitely more than five.
May 7-Walked around yard approx. fifteen minutes
May 8-Traveling. walked around rest stops at driving breaks. more than fifteen minutes
May 9- Went to the casino and walked around off and on for a couple hours, then walked around the hospital for a couple of hours off and on, while sister had tests.
May 10-not much walking today, but at least five minutes of fooling with the flowers and the yard.
May 11-walked around the rest areas on the way home 15 min
May 12-clean house for about 45 minutes
May 13-gardening and weedeating, shoveling bark and digging holes
May 14-walking around the property 15 minutes
May 15-dental appointment ouch. Not much exercise walking around property about 10 minutes
May 16-lots of gardening, shoveling bark, planting veg starts, repotting tomatoes and peppers most of the day

May 7th - at least 90 minutes of scrubbing floors by hand, cleaning the bathroom, moving furniture around and other spring cleaning joy....

May 1: I posted this as 20 minutes of dog walking. Actually the goats got out of the pen and I was chasing them around to catch them and get them back in the pen.
May 2: Gardening 60 minutes
May 3- Dancing 10 minutes
May4-Housecleaning 20 minutes
May5- Walked around several stores while shopping approximately 30 minutes, then went out to a farm to buy plant starts and walked around the farm for about 30 minutes. It was beautiful although I could have done without the rain.
May 6-Walked around the grocery store, vacuumed the house and chased my grandkids. Not sure how many minutes this added up to but it was definitely more than five.
May 7-Walked around yard approx. fifteen minutes
May 8-Traveling. walked around rest stops at driving breaks. more than fifteen minutes
May 9- Went to the casino and walked around off and on for a couple hours, then walked around the hospital for a couple of hours off and on, while sister had tests.
May 10-not much walking today, but at least five minutes of fooling with the flowers and the yard.
May 11-walked around the rest areas on the way home 15 min
May 12-clean house for about 45 minutes
May 13-gardening and weedeating, shoveling bark and digging holes
