Well I was right, it was a beautiful day on the Little Miami Bike Trail. :bigsmile: And I was not the only one taking advantage of it. :bigsmile: But this time I was the walker, so I made sure I gave the bicyclists plenty of room to pass me. Don't want to cause anything. :laugh:
Added 10 miles walking today. My ankles and heels are telling me that might have been too ambitious, even in this weather. :grumble: We'll see tomorrow.
June total 39.25 miles :bigsmile:

DJMICHEALS - Good luck on your 5K!! And HEY, you run exactly the same speed that I do!!!! What are the odds?!? :bigsmile::laugh:
Dave
It's probably because I walk most of the time with little bursts of speed. I haven't run in ages, more than 10 years, so I think my body would revolt. :noway:0 -
It just occurred to me that I haven't update my miles.

@speedyf - Nice pictures. I love shady trails. Is that gravel though? I would be going super slow. I don't like feeling my tires slip.
@verdemujer:
On big down hills like this one, it's gravel over rock dust. I'm pretty sure they put gravel to slow down bikers. Not an easy descent and the ascent is even harder! No grip.
Speedy - You need a Fat Tire bike. I have one with 4" wide tires. It gets amazing grip on gravel, mud and snow. Not so much on pavement though. I have been riding that one on trails instead of my mountain bike and it's been a lot of fun. :bigsmile: :bigsmile:
Beautiful pictures. :drinker: :drinker:
@sufferlandia,
Maybe Speedy just needs a Fat Tire.... beer that is! LOL!
Well I'm adding 4.8 miles, though technically it wasn't from exercise, but boy, was I moving... my in-laws!
They are elderly, and were asked to vacate their apartment, the new one isn't ready yet, so we had to pack them up, out and into our place(temporarily)! They also came with two old, yappy doggies that were never house broken, a squawking 30 year old parrot, and both are hard of hearing and not very mobile. So.... I hit the cabernet last night!

A Friday Funny for you
Glad to know I'm not the only one doing that. Or eating ice cream while watching Extreme Weight Loss.
3.1 mile walk. Wasn't supposed to be able to go out today but had a really bad migraine and was forced to call out for tonight's shift. Way too many meds and caffeine boluses later, it's resolving so I went for a walk. This way the day isn't a total loss, since calling out on the second of three shifts isn't advantageous at all :grumble:
