In a continuation of last months challenge, post here if you want to complete over the course of the month of July the distances of an Iron Man in Swimming, Biking, and Running. That is in total 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swimming, 112-mile (180.25 km) cycling and a 26.2 miles (42.2 km) of running.
For those that are interested, just post up as often as you'd like to update your tally. And distances covered indoors or outdoors, or on during a race, count.

I'm in! Swimming shouldn't be a problem. Bike might be manageable. But the run? Well......that will be a challenge. Still recovering from ankle surgery. Worth giving it a shot though!

This is a great idea. I noticed you guys midway through last month but didn't want to jump in the middle.
I live in Tampa so most of my summer training is in the morning to avoid the intense midday heat/humidity. I am an avid AG55-59 who races way too much. Have several sprints/olympics on the schedule for the summer and a 70.3 in Nov.
Also, while it's not an IM discipline (not yet anyway) I include Yoga in my training. It is invaluable to my overall performance and health (i.e injury avoidance). Just because I am curious, I am going journal my Yoga sessions.

Just managed to make the distance last month for the swim.
Have just signed up for a 1.2 mile sea swim on the 25th of July so it should force me to the pool/sea for more swimming.
