Finally got myself a new swimsuit this weekend - previous one was hanging by a thread. Coincidentally (or not), I shaved 5 seconds off my 100m freestyle. Now I kinda want to get one of those suck it all in skinsuits and see if I can go even faster! Or, much like with cycling, I could probably also lose 20 lbs and make time gains without spending $$$$

6.4km last night in the 22m gym pool.
I was swimming with the lane rope about 5 inches from my right shoulder. My left hand caught the left foot of the person on the other side of the rope. Crazy stuff happens when swimming in China.
Sometimes I get kicked in the ribs from the other side of the rope.0 -
