1550 yards, but it felt like a kind of weak swim.

1250 yards of backstroke. I hate having to be in the pool at 6 AM because of work, but my workout is done for today.

I swam almost an hour in the 86 degree community pool, and it was great! (I usually dislike that pool with only one lane divider and no floor markings)
Many freestyle laps on the finger dragging drill, imprinting something.
Many backstroke laps working on rotation, catch and orienting my palms. It's actually good to have a wonky shoulder sometimes to help me improve my technique (not that I would know, even if I could see myself swim).
I ordered a GoPro imitation to get better resolution. My current water camera shots fuzzy video!

    Cheers!

1500 yards of front crawl today. I'm changing up my diet, so I'm not seeing too many gains at this point, but I'm making sure that I get in the pool everyday.

Just over a kilometre today but considering it was immediately after a 13km run I think I did ok.

I swam 0.000005368 light-seconds and then some more, but I dunno how much?
A chunk of it working on the hand entry for freestyle and another chunk for backstroke. Plus, a smidgen of unrushed fly--focus on timing, my kick and breathing.

    Gurgle, gurgle, blub, blub

That's the wrong order, Swim, Bike and then run. ;) Actually well done following a run where you burn up legs strength/endurance.
I have officially now doubled my monthly running total by doing a 5km jaunt on Sunday when it warmed up to a more comfortable -30C. After 2 weeks of -40C all of a sudden -30 seems mild.

1350 yard backstroke. I chose an audiobook from the library that is too funny to swim front crawl without drowning, so I'm getting lots of backstroke practice until I finish the book.

Been missing in action. Haven't swum much since the masters games - super busy at work and strangely lacking in energy. Did 2800m solo swim yesterday and found it hard going!

    600 as 200 free 100 back (repeat)

    200 kick

    300 pull

    200 kick

400 as alt free back by 100

    300 kick

    300 pull

    200 kick

    300 warmdown
