I'm having this tonight. If I'd realized there wouldn't be any good pictures online I would have taken some of my own.

If you have access to this, buy it. I'm not always a huge peanut butter lover-- I didn't care for Ben & Jerry's peanut butter ice cream at all. This one is really good though-- it's sweeter, more like Reese's filling.

I think this pint was even better than the first one-- it had a lot more chocolate in it.

where did you get that at?????

I got it at Fresh Market, which is a fancy shmancy grocery store in Jacksonville (FL)

Idk where you are but here are the locations that carry the brand:

    http://www.gelatofiasco.com/retailers/

    And none for San Diego

    Having this. Eierlikör Eis

Sort of an eggnog liqueur ice creme. It's criminally good.

I found randomly at Target a very unexpectedly delicious ice cream:

    12+mini+donut.jpg

At 150 cals a serving, how could I say no?

I think I need to make a trip to Target. I got their sea salt caramel pretzel ice cream and wasn't a fan. One of my friends here got it, too, and said the same. The pretzels were soft and meh.

    One of my favorites:

I'm not sure if Tillamook is widely available outside of the PNW, it's an Oregon brand. But it's the best  . Creamy ice creamy goodness, not too heavy, and not a whole lot of ice crystals. MMMMMMMMMM.

It sounds good-- you can pretty much only find eggnog stuff around Christmas here.

I had this one this morning. I won't be able to buy Jeni's for while, so I'm trying to make it last. I hope it resized.

So, I don't know if any of you have heard of Bruster's but if you have one in your area and you've never been, SHAME ON YOU! They make their ice cream fresh in house everyday so the available flavors vary daily. Here's the master list of flavors - http://www.brusters.com/flavors_icecream.asp

I stopped on my way home from seeing an eye specialist today and got the birthday cake flavor.
    WC_BirthdayCake.png?itok=xgAGUhwY
Yeah... it's a very creamy cake batter ice cream base (my favorite) with thick (very, very thick) swirls of buttercream frosting with sprinkles.

*hangs head in shame* There's actually one not far from where I work. I don't think I've ever been there.

You had your eyes dilated today - better let me hold that for you. We do not have a Bruster's.

No. Mine. And not having Bruster's where you live is all the more reason to come visit!

Tough choice with the cinnamon one but I went for this, as it's limited edition...

Not bad, but the cheesecake flavor is way too mild, although the bits are good. I is disappoint. At least it's low cal.

Found one here in NoVA, I'll let you know how it is. Hopefully it is worth the drive to Fresh Market, as Talenti is within walking distance.

Tonight I went with something Mr. Acrylics picked out. It's Breyer's chocolate chip waffle cone. It was really good, especially for only 140 calories per serving. It's vanilla base with caramel, chocolate chips, and pieces of chocolate covered waffle cone.

As you can see it's got a decent amount of mix-ins-- there weren't any plain vanilla bites.

I also tried one of the Ciao Bella gelato squares:

Really disappointed in these. Mr. Acrylics liked them though so I'll probably let him have the rest. The outside is a dark chocolate cookie, which is really good. But that's all I really tasted. The filling was completely overpowered and I could have been eating plain vanilla for all the hazelnut that I tasted.

But, on the plus side, they're really pretty! :indifferent:

Is that Breyer's ice cream the 'drumstick' flavor? It's on my list to try too...

Edy's has Drumstick. That one was just ok to me. Not my favorite. But that didn't stop me from eating all of it. I'm putting this Waffle Cone on my list, for sure.

That bread pudding looks amazing. I probably would have gone for that. But like I said, peanut butter is hit or miss for me.

The bread pudding without the sauce would have been great, but the sauce was super sweet. Now the coffee ice cream they served with it was delicious.

Acrylics, something to me you wouldn't be a fan of those squares. I was expecting more from them.

JW, all I can say is I'm so jealous. Looks amazing.

I wish I'd asked about them before I got them. But it was a snap decision. Meh, you win some, you lose some.

Speaking of other delicious things, do we want a separate thread for non-ice cream/gelato foods? Or would you guys rather keep just one thread?

    Another thread would be nice.

One for Sweet , another for Savory.
