Hmmm - I see Ciao Bella all the time, but for whatever reason, never have tried it. Don't think I've seen Bourbon Caramel Chocolate - I may have to try that if I see it.

Okay so I tried the stuff I brought earlier today.

Ciao Bella - I don't know what made me do this, which I never do, but first thing I did was smell the gelato. It was sweet. Then the taste was pretty sweet as well. The chocolate worked well to balance that out. Not completely but enough to make it enjoyable.

Talenti Cookie Dough - F'ing gross. Enough said.

Talenti Salted peanut caramel - Really really good. Worth a shot. Nice big pieces of peanut in it. Of course I always want more caramel but I'm not complaining about how much it had.

B&J Cookie Core - A lot of layers of chocolate. It's good. If you're a big dark chocolate fan you might say it's great. I am not disappointed with this one at all. Lots of mix ins.

Oh yea forgot to add...... Talenti Cookie Dough, you really belly flopped on this one man.

Yeah it's very disappointing. Way too few mix ins too. I mean, I still like it (had some at lunch actually), but definitely won't buy again.

You can always add more booze, right?

@MrM27, when do you get paroled?

As I did with Jeni's Whiskey & Pecan! However, that had a whiskey base, and I'm not sure how some additional whiskey would go with the caramel / choc.

I think I see a need to find this flavor of Ciao Bella. For SCIENCE, of course.

Has anyone tried the Banana Chocolate Swirl Talenti? I've never seen it before, so it was an impulse purchase.

I think Lolbroscience liked that one, but to me it just tasted like baby food bananas. Jeni's had the best banana flavor, in my opinion. It tasted like fresh bananas in their bananas + honey.

I was such a goody-two-shoes in High School, and now I'm hanging out with all the bad kids. Can I still call it youthful rebellion if I'm old as dirt?

I've finally decided to post in this group. I was hiding in shame before. Shame that I live in an Italian neighborhood dotted with gelatorias, and have only been to one. When I was like, 10. Once it warms up I've vowed to walk around and try them.

I had previously only had the pistachio talenti, which I loved. But yesterday I bought peanut butter cup swirl and southern butter pecan. The peanut butter one was good, I loved that there was actual peanut butter in it. I think I would have liked for it to be a little more chocolatey. But the butter pecan was amazing. It's my favorite ice cream flavor (my boyfriend thinks I'm a freak for that) and this was like butter pecan on steroids. So freaking good!! I really want to try the coconut but they never have it anymore.

WTF? Are a lot of newbies getting pissed that people are giving them advice they don't want to hear?

So the bars mean that you are banned from the forums or something?

The bars mean that person has a warning. There will be a red icon saying banned in place of their userpic when that happens.

Yeah, and there are weird restrictions on people with warnings such as they can only post every 90 seconds or something and a few other weird things. I think it's supposed to prevent a "real time" fight or something ridiculous.

Seriously, I have been on TONS of fora and message boards since back in horse and buggy usenet days, and this place is the only one I've seen that does the Scarlet Letter routine. Television Without Pity did the insane over- and mis- modding thing, but left you to slink off in the darkness once you'd been chastised for "going off topic" or "being sarcastic." (As you can guess from those two violations alone, I didn't last long there, LOL. Sarcastic digressions are my native tongue.)

    I'm a proud member of the banned-from-TWoP club. :D

It's every 150 seconds. Also if you are behind bars you can't report anyone. So basically people see you behind bars, they report and flag you for anything hoping you'll get banned but you can't do anything about it. It really is ridiculous at this point.

Can you contact a mod and ask about it? Is it permanent?

I rarely look at the forums on my phone - usually at the computer. What's so unbelievably stupid about the bars is that, on the computer, just your icon / avatar is barred. On the phone, your whole comments are barred and unreadable (and I haven't figured out a way to see barred comments. The stupid bars actually punish other forum members by obscuring your (and others') comments, making reading a thread a jumbled mess of missed back and forth. Really, really poorly implemented "warning" system.
