So how about a food punishment-given a favorite for a week, eat a vegetable you've always hated (because I think in the zombie apocalypse, I'd even eat peas if I were starving-shudder!)
I think a food punishment is harder though because I love peas, no punishment there. Now if you said no ice cream or coffee I'd have a problem, but most people trying to lose weight have already cut those. Now my pilates class is doing a 2.5 minute chair squat right now. That is always a punishment0 -
Chair squats- that is definitely a punishment! Wall sits! Has anyone ever done the Bring Sally Up squat challenge? That is a punishment! LOL Check it out on you tube, and try to squat along!

We'll get on as long as you don't eat Daryl or Michonne. Eat either of them and we riot! :P
HEY!!! Carol saved them all, why is she not on the list of ppl not to eat?!

I like the idea of a food punishment, but I think it would have to be harder than peas. The problem is people have dietary restictions that would have to be worked around.
AND NO BURPEES!!!! I want to try some creative new punishments...like, 30 min of shadow boxing or Wall Sits. New and creative should be the name of the game, since the show showed us new and creative uses for zippers and belt buckles.

Ah, but see, we could say pick a vegetable you DON'T like instead of choosing one or have people give up ice cream or chocolate (coffee would be cruel and inhuman punishment not mention I'd end up in jail without it!).
Chair squats and wall sits are brutal. Don't know how my knees would hold up to long periods of time with those.

I have the best punishment ever. It's something Zombieinkpot and I had come up with. There are different variations to this but our latest one is called Survival Zombies (previously named Combat Zombies):
You do one push-up, one press-up and run to the end of the room, jab ten times and run back and increase all reps by one per round bar your run and jabs. So for your second round, you'd do one push-up, one press-up, one push-up and one press-up (2 push-ups and 2 press-ups in total) and a run to the end of the room and back. You'd then increase the rep up one again to total it to 3 and so on until failure. We do it to a song, which also acts as our stopwatch. It's intense and it's such a brilliant fat burner.
There's different variations. The one above is the hardest Zombies to do. There's also Standard Zombies, Ultimate Zombies and Killer Zombies. If you guys are interested, let me know and I'll explain the others.
Here's mine and Zombieinkpot's stats:
MisterDazzle:
Cardio: 150/60
Strength: 90/90
Calories: 2/7
Character Challenge: 2/2
Punishment: 0/0
ZombieInkpot:
Cardio: 120/60
Strength: 60/90
Calories: 2/7
Character Challenge: 0/2 (I'm doing the video tomorrow again)
Punishment: 0/0
I've totalled the minutes I've done today and divided them by 2 and shared them on both stats. I've done 240 minutes cardio so 120 for both of us. I've done 120 minutes of strength (it killed, haha) so 60 minutes each. I've never EVER been under my calorie goal...ever and neither has she. I've done the kickboxing video this morning and I'll do it again as soon as I wake up.0 -
Stats so for week 1(Tuesday)
Cardio: 50/90

New and creative workout equipment could be the challenge, Like bicep curls with canned goods or (insert creative idea here), Also I SUPER love Mr.Dazzler/Zombieinkpot's survival workout!MisterDazzler wrote: »I have the best punishment ever. The way it worked last year, so I assume it is the same, was Sunday is an extra day. You can use it if you need to so you can get a headstart on the week. Or sub it for another day so that you can take a day off(I did this birthdays so I could have that yummy birthday cake).
Cardio: 60/90

Yup - Carol Rocks!!! No one ever thinks the ones that start out weak will actually be the strong ones, but sometimes they are the strongest of all. I think they maybe turning Beth into one of those people too.

So, I will let our captain decide what to do with me this week. I've completed all the exercise stuff (and will do the video at the hotel on Friday) and am majorly under calories for the week (like 3,000+ deficit right now) but I leave tomorrow for a long weekend and have zero intention of logging food. So you can either count me absent or just not give me credit for being under calories for the week and use my extra minutes if somebody needs them. However you think I help the team the most. I will still be working out while I'm gone so will be adding to the minute totals.
Here are my stats through today:
Cardio: 237/90
Strength: 89/60
Calories: under for the week
Challenges: 0/1 (plan to do these at the hotel this weekend)
Punishment: 0/0
Carol was a total bada** this week! What a great episode-so excited for the next one!0 -

I AM A MOTHERFUDGING MACHINE! I did Boxercise, Survival Zombies and even thought of new zombies that is GREAT for the whole of your body.
So, you'll do one bicycle sit-up, one burpee, run to the end of the room, ten jabs, ten squats and belly-crawl back to the other side of the room. Increase the rep by one through doing one bicycle sit-up, one burpee, one bicycle sit-up, one burpee, run to the end of the room, ten jabs, ten squats and belly-crawl. The only reps that increase are push-ups and sit-ups, NOTHING ELSE!
These are called War Zombies. Easiest way I find to remember the exercise is this:
You bicycle sit-up to kick the zombies away to protect yourself when you're vulnerable on the ground
You'll burpee to dodge their attacks. You jump down to avoid their grabs and jump to avoid ankle-biters
You run to the end of the room to get away from the horde.
You jab to fight the zombies ahead of you to clear the way.
You squat to avoid their upper body grabs
You crawl back to avoid detection.
I guarantee you that this will work you. I'm coming up with some more to test myself.
Anyways, I also did some weightlifting and some rowing and I worked.
I did 120 minutes of cardio, divided by 2 to make 60 for each.
I did 90 minutes of strength, divided by 2 is 45 each.
Both of us are always under calorie goals
I have also completed the character video again.

I'll have extra too. I'm at 120 strength and 115 cardio and I still have 2 more days to go!
So did we decide on a punishment?0
