i always get behind on my posts....

10/13/14-From Trader Joe's: one Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Spice Salted Caramel, two Iced pumpkin scone cookies, a serving of pumpkin spice chai latte, and one serving of pumpkin ice cream with a Pumpkin flavored Frosted Toaster Pastry. I also had a Thomas Apple Pie English Muffin for breakfast.

...didn't really care for the yogurt, but after i added some cinnamon it was quite tasty.

Cortelli.did you say bacon!!!??? My favorite food group! Can someone please make a maple pumpkin bacon dessert? Thanks!

I am so bacon-ed out at this point - I griddled up bacon for late breakfast / lunch snacks on Saturday and then a few more for drinks on Saturday afternoon, breakfast Sunday, bacon-wrapped scallops in late afternoon Sunday. I expected to fry up several pounds Monday morning, but kids were content with pancakes and leftover hamburgers (yes, hamburgers) for breakfast. So I still came home from the weekend with 3 - 4 pounds of raw bacon. Going to have to figure something out - we have friends who offered trick-or-treaters either candy or bacon last year -- maybe I'll consider that for Halloween!

Had a Wawa "The Gobbler" Hoagie today
Turkey, Stuffing & Cranberry topped with Gravy. Tastes just like Thanksgiving dinner... all that's missing is the green bean casserole and pumpkin pie... lol

There is a bar in Madison, WI (I am sure there are others as well) that has big punch bowls of bacon setting out at happy hour. It is a glorious thing.

My kids would love it if someone handed out bacon at Halloween - it is one food item that they regularly eat well, and probably why we have breakfast for dinner so often...

Macaroons for the win!!! My favorite. I just hate that everyone wants to charge like 2 bucks for each.

Guess I did alright then-- these were a dollar a piece. My favorite so far was the pistachio.

Can I use a brownie batter shake as my treat today? If not I'm in trouble. Although I did have a cinnamon roll too. Surely one of those counts.

It was. I *may* have to sneak another piece after dinner.

Basically, It's Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread & Muffin mix, but instead of oil I substituted with a Mott's Peach Applesauce cup and I added some mini semi-sweet chocolate chips.

It's really good. Ended up 197 calories a piece and there's 12 pieces.
