Question for you guys: what makes you feel motivated when you've been struggling? I made an album of my old pictures that remind me of times when I really enjoyed the feeling of exercise and eating well, but I'm trying to think of other ideas. Videos, quotes, etc.

Brad, I was surfing my woodworking sites and was on woodworkers web. A couple of weeks ago I commented on someones cordless drill charging station. I just realized that was your post. I don't know how I missed that at the time!

That's awesome! I thought that was you. It was a fun quick thing to work on - I really enjoy practice projects like that.

I added a couple new columns to my spreadsheet as I continue to work on it: sparkline and number of entries. I'm still only back to page 85 for backlogging all the previous entries, so that number will continue to grow for those of you who have been doing this for a long time. The sparklines are basically a graph of your weight changes over time condensed into a single cell. This is intended to be a quick view of the direction your weight has been moving over time.

Steve's line is awesome - dropping consistently since the beginning of 2017. I filtered the sheet before taking my screenshot to only show people who have posted within the last 100 days.

HorstBC your chart is amazing. I need to find time to get in and look at it closer.

In terms of motivation - I don't have that figured out. I enjoy working out and do it all the time. My issue is being consistent with eating. I munch on too many snacks and tend not to pay attention to how much I eat on weekends.

Haven't posted in a while. Had a tough two weeks and the diet went off track. Went from 306 to 312 in a week! But managed to get back on track thankfully.

    LWW (21st) = 312
    Current (28th) = 308

Uugh, terrible week for me. The rains are back creating a very sedentary week for me and my wife's birthday weekend with all the bad foods. I'll try and make it up this next week.
Congrats on your losses guys. WTG!!!

I've had a bad month at work and have let myself take my stress out on food, undoing the progress I've made since March. I believe I'm almost out of the woods on the work situation; but either way, I'm planning to focus on healthy habits and start working my way back.

    Hey guys,

Sorry, but no chart this week. The end of the year gets really hectic for me. I've got tons of stuff going on at work and then I've got a whole bunch of use it or lose it vacation coming up. Spent this last 4 day weekend doing all sorts of work around the house (removing a large evergreen, pressure washing, etc...). So, I've been getting my exercise in, but just haven't bothered with the scale. We are heading to Hawaii the day after Thanksgiving and doubt I will be doing anything with charts the next couple of weeks either.

Hope the upcoming Holiday season finds you all healthy and happy and are able to spend it with loved ones. I, for one, am looking forward to a fresh start in 2019. Tim

Apparently I did not save my post after I wrote it last week.
    Last week = 201.4
    CWW = 201.3
Loss of 0.1 (but a loss of 0.9 since my last post that saved)

I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving Day tomorrow!

    Howdy guys,

Thanks for sticking around during my hiatus of the past several weeks. I just got back from a Maui vacation very early yesterday morning. Thanksgiving and vacation has been a huge disappointment for me. I didn't just fall off the wagon in regards to eating but clearly jumped off of it and landed in the middle of an all you can eat buffet. Over the last 3 or so weeks, I've packed on an additional 9.1 lbs. I am going to try and reverse that, but with Christmas and everything that brings, I'm not sure how successful I'll be. Fingers crossed.

Tim - it's a journey and sometimes we go down the wrong path. Just keep plugging away. Sounds like Maui was fun though!

    Howdy men,

Well, I had a loss for the second week in a row for a change. Not as much as I wanted or expected but, considering it's the Christmas holiday's I shouldn't complain too much.

I'm sure once we are all past the holidays, it will improve and we'll get back on track.

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and are able to share it with friends and family.

Well gents I hope you are all doing well. Good news is I am now the proud father of a beautiful baby girl. The bad news is that tiredness leads to bad food choices and it has shown on the scale. But I think about my weight every day and know this isn't permanent and I'm getting back into it.

Went for a solid 20 minute run and pushed myself this week and it felt good! It's just about consistency now.

    Previous report: 305
    CWW 318 (I know!)
Mini goal is to get to 300 by 7th January.
