    Pleased to meet you! I have been looking at all the reports of tiny shoe sizes (<=11) for tall women, thinking, my+ family is abnormal. I wear women's 12-13, men's 11+. Daughter is 13-14 women's.

    I'm 6' and wear size 10.5 in men's. I love skater shoes. In women's I'm typically a 12 for closed two and will sneak into 11 or 10s for open toe. I'm so jealous of all these people with size 9 and 10 shoes...

    5'10" and have worn a 12 since jr. high. used to wear a AA, now mostly a B width. These days, I pretty much live in birkinstocks. I do buy men's sneakers. Fave places:

    11 here, payless is a wonderful store IF they can keep the cute heels in my size in stock, I love wearing heels, my height doesnt stop me!

    Me too! I'd help design and create beautiful and comfortable shoes with smaller heels! :)

    I wear a size 11 wide. I have to buy men's shoes to run in. I buy all my work and "girlie" shoes at The Avenue.
    Or, I buy them online from Amazon or Zappos. Also, Shoe Rack at our mall sometimes has 11 wide for women.
    If/when I find shoes that actually fit and are comfortable, I try to buy 2 pair or even 3 in different colors etc.

    I feel pretty lucky, I do not have a hard time with shoe stores usually.

    I would love to experience this magical foot shrinking and maybe wear a 10 medium. That would make shopping so much easier! So many lame stores stop at a 10.

    I am also terrified of feet growing after having kids...

    At 5'11 I wore an 11W when I started losing weight almost 3 years ago.

    Now I'm a size 9 normal width and very happy. I spent a lot of money replacing shoes and boots, but it was worth it.
