My name is Chelsey and I am trying to lose 170 pounds. I have five living kids and deal with chronic migraine as well as hypertension and edema. I am ready to stop falling into my excuses and binge eating for comfort. I am ready to crack down and get my health back!1

Hi everyone! I'm Jen, 48 year old Mom of three kids (ages 19, 16, 12). Six years ago, after staying home with my kids for over 10 years, I decided to return to my career -- I'm a Teacher Librarian (library media specialist in my state) in an elementary school. To prove myself (mainly to myself), I threw myself into my work, which has led to lots of eating out, relaxing and entertaining myself with food. This last year (pandemic) and a new job (closer to home) hasn't helped, and I've gained up to my highest weight (same high weight as when I was pregnant). Now that I'm close to 50, I realize that a weak body is not supporting my knees or my feet or my overall health. I'm realizing that, if I am to manage my weight for my health and life, I have to do the work. That's why I'm here. (Always looking for new friends, so add me).1
