Yeah, New Year's ended up at Taco Bell. Probably helped the hangover, though, I don't know.
Sunday=1 drink, had that bloody mary I wanted.
    Monday=0 drinks
Tuesday should be 0 drinks as well. Getting a massage after my workout and so far, that has not been a drinking event for me.

Ha, you know how they talk about things being a "taxable event" well, all the lushies have our "drinkable events" like girls night out, end of the semester, no kids in the house, 5pm:tongue:
    what's your drinkable event?

Happy 2012 Everyone!!! Ready to have a semi-alcohol free January. I had 2 glasses of wine last night (equalled 10 oz.), but it was red wine...so it was good for me!

My friend is coming home from CA near the end of January to celebrate her 25th, I will drink lots with her on one night...and then my 25th is the next weekend & the husband & I are going to Hard Rock Casino! YAY! So, fun times will be had.

my drinking event is the constant opportunity to try to empty a bottle. I hate having to see the poor alcohol longing to free itself from the confines of a corked or screwed on cap so I make it my mission to set it free.

First workout of 2012 and the first in a very long time. Rode my stationary bike for an hour and am trying out the special K thing. Felt good getting back to the healthy lifestyle. Though I really would love some wine tonight, I am really going to try and go Monday - Thursday with no booze. Friday & Saturday are free game and as long as football is on, Sunday is also free game. We planned on marinated pork loin tonight with probably a salad and some veggie, man does wine sound good with that haha.

My drinking event is any day that I am home at 6pm or earlier. Later than that, I probably won't start. Funny how I always manage to get home by 6.....

I think my liver hurts, is it that thing on the right side up under your ribs?

Oy, nothing like a 2 day hangover...nah, it wasn't that bad, I was just coming off of a sinus infection, so I probably shouldn't have gone as crazy as I did on NYE.

Hmmmm...drinkable events? Kids gone, kids in bed, last day of quarter, stressful day at work, summer, because I'm thirsty...shall I go on?

I fail, 4 glasses of wine, BUT with just the Special K plan I was at 543 cals, plus our dinner of lean pork loin, steamed broccoli and parsnips, then minus the 608 for my bike ride. I feel I earned that wine haha plus I'm a little freaking out about this wedding stuff. I feel like I should be more excited for all these details buuuut I'm kind of in the mind frame of lets just say "I do" "I do" and then party. I know it's going to be an amazing wedding or party rather because it's such a fabulous venue and I guess it's more all this dress stuff that's annoying me. Kyle's mom and sister want to go shopping as well as his best friends girlfriend who I am actually friends with now aside from her relationship with Justin. They just seem so much more excited than me, but I am excited to try on the dress that I found that I just love =] ok, rant done, more wine.

Kat-you'll definitely get more excited about it once you start trying on dresses, trust me!

    Last night-0
We have no wine in the house so I should be fine until friday! Plus, my husband is trying not to drink during the week either so that definitely makes it easier for me

Drinking event....hmm, weekends regardless of plans or if I have a ton of calories left over for the day or I just feel like it, really haha!!! It doesn't take much to make we want to

Going for no alcohol during the week, just weekend.. Read in the Sunday paper that vodka slows weight lost by 78%... trying to kick that habit then.
what? I thought vodka was best for dieting.

If you are going to drink, I think vodka is considered to be one of your best options.

Me Too...it's Rum, Tequila, Whiskey & Vodka (not necessarily in that order)

It slows down the metabolism by 78%, but great for calories... I know that is what the paper said, maybe we should research...mmmm... great I can't give it up either way

I'll blame the slow metabolism on peri-menopause and leave the vodka well enough alone

Poor Robin! Hope you feel better soon!!!

Nothing again last night, YAY me!! Seriously no wine in the house makes things MUCH easier! Although I do have a delicious bottle of port, which I plan on saving until friday so I can have some dark chocolate with it
