    :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: I think the few of us who are still posting on this challenge have forgotten that the challenge was 100 squats a day :laugh: we are all doing an awesome job :bigsmile:

    :laugh: yesterday I said it was unrealistic to think I could do 240 squats a day and then today I did 280 and 40 of them were done with five pound dumbbell overhead raises between squats:laugh: and 20 of them holding 10 pound dumbbells in each hand......adding these sets to my two or three times a week strength training program seems like a good idea :bigsmile:

    So pumped up today, I couldn't help but do another 500 squats, who knows how long I can keep this up, but it's challenging me and I love it. Wow, this is an awesome feeling.

    Half way thru and I am here till the end - 100 Days, regardless.

    Feb 12 – 500 squats – Day 50 – 50 Days to go for me.

    I just figured out that today is day #51 for me.......so I am starting the second half of the 100 day challenge :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    Another great workout today and squats all done as well. I know I have said it a few times now, but I'm loving this challenge so much that I'm even doing my squats during morning tea and lunch breaks at work, hahahahahha!!

    that's what makes squats so great
    you can do them anywhere with no special clothes and no special equipment:bigsmile:

    02/14/2012 - 500 squats and 11,000 so far.

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I have been slacking on my squats for the past week, but I started up again, and I am not sick anymore.

    Day 1 went well. I broke them down into 4 sets of 25. I think I will keep them like this for 10 days and then increase a little bit. Feeling good so far. Off to start Day 2.

  • I got my new HRM watch today and I am absolutely rapped and over the moon, tried it this morning and this evening, MFP tells me I have burned more calories, however I am sticking with HRM, more accurate and a fantastic tool.

    So pumped!

    Wow, barbiecat, you are so close to the 10,000 mark! Everyone here are so encouraging! I had some days when I either did very few, like twenty-five or fifty squats, or none at all. However, when I come here and see everyone doing such an amazing job it helps me out. Therefore, I decided to do more squats today. This challenge is helping me greatly. One great gain from this challenge is that my thighs don't touch anymore!

    02/17/2012 - 600 squats and 11,600 so far.
  • Go Sabrina, good job and yes they do get easier, you will know when to step it up or challenge yourself even more.

    Go Barbiecat, your nearly there, absolutely awesome.

    :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: we are such overachievers:laugh: :laugh: the challenge is 100 squats a day and we keep exceeding that :laugh: earlier this evening I looked at my list and said,"you're not doing very well today, only 180 squats" so I got busy and did some more


    my total for today 220 :bigsmile:

    I was a bit tired today, but managed to finish my squats at work, luckily my boss is into exercising as well, I challenged her to do 100 squats a day for 100 days, she nearly fell out of her seat, hehehe
