Hello lake Wylie SC here. 53yrs old 190 lbs trying to loose 15-20 lbs. I started the Insanity workout two weeks ago. So far it is helping my fitness but the weight has not started dropping so I found this website and I am trying to watch what I eat. It is amazing when you start keeping track of what you eat how fast the calories add up. I am also trying to stay away from the junk food and bad calories. Is there anyone in the area also doing the Insanity workout?0

Every time I hear of Lake Wylie, I remember the episode on the Andy Griffith show that had Ernest T Bass learning to be a gentleman.
"How do you do Missus Wylie?"

Born in Pelzer; Raised in Greenville; followed Navy husband all over the US and Pacific. Now I live in Bluffton (near Beaufort & Hilton Head). I love this area, but NOTHING COMPARES TO THE UPSTATE- It is "God's Country".1

North Carolina ... born in Monroe, grew up in Hamlet, live in Troy surrounded by the Uwharrie Mountains ... hence "Uwharrie Gold" Lived away from the state for about 25 years (Massachusetts, Kansas and Germany), Army and business. Lived in South Carolina ... Columbia and Seabrook Island. People I met from all over would always say "I love the Carolinas" or "I've always wanted to go to the Carolinas. We live in a beautiful place with a wonderful climate.0

Glad you like it there. Most people move to Hilton Head, not from. It is getting more crowded on the Island now. What part of the upstate did you move to?0

I live in Charleston, SC. I have lived in Greenville, SC, Columbia and Burlington, NC over the last 6 years though. Charleston is where we call home and we are done moving!1
