I believe there is a rule when it comes to spending money and cycling?
mortgage your house if necessary

Also, if you ever put your bike on a car rack, your bike must be worth more than the car.

I'm waiting for my mail person to show up with a brake cable for my latest project bike and some Nimbus tires to replace the awful Kwests that came with my 3 speed.

Come to think of it, my project bike has the Nimbus tires that made it several thousand miles on my old 3 speed.

Thanks so much! But it is pretty easy to post photos of my old steel bikes when that's all I have. ;)

'73 Raleigh Grand Prix (lugged steel)
    '92 Bridgestone RB-T (lugged steel)
    '93 Trek 970 (lugged steel)
    '95 Trek 830 (steel)
    '97 KHS Summit X (steel)
'50s unicycle (made from a biplane steel fork)

Although my wife's other bike is aluminum, and my two daughters' three bikes are aluminum or aluminum/carbon.

I love my old Trek 950! Bought it new in 1990, just had it overhauled this spring. I will have to take a photo.

Edited to add it might be an '89, as I remember it was on sale as "last season's model" at the time. ; )

I just had my Trek 5200 re-geared to a 32-11 cassette. It's still a work horse and now it's my favorite climbing bike.

Not sure this qualifies as true Schwagggg....for those controlled interval sessions not on the boards. This is gonna hurt.

Scosche Rhythm Bluetooth LE Speed and Cadence Sensor to use with the Digifit app on my phone. I'll mount this on my Trek 970 for now, as I have a 20+ year old Cateye on my RB-T
