I've been toying with trying an Adamo seat. Let me know how you get on with it... What width is it?0

The new kits showed up...one for Natz and one for Worlds.
Then Shimano got busy and sent over new C50's in the new wide version..
And the new Quarq Elsa PM in the "RS" version. Notice they allow the Shimano DA 9000 rings to come across and actually look like they are made for it. This is very nice as you can switch between compact rings and the traditional 53/39 setup.

Oh boy. I can't wait to load pictures of all the wonderful things I'm purchasing for my brother's commuter bike I'm building for him. Not fancy, nothing particularly exciting, but I've got a budget of $350 to build this bike for his birthday. So far, I picked up an old... ummm... something that's green for $20. It's in pieces now and I'll be ordering parts tonight.0

Classy - I loved my old B17 back in the day - if I was building myself a touring bike I'm pretty sure I'd be grabbing another B17N.

Nom. I'll need one of those (preferably all pink) for my winter commuting. Unfotunately, they do work best will full face helmets. I've read they never quite fit right with a regular cycling helmet. However, a BMX-style helmet might work as well.0 -

I don't have any problems with my goggles and my regular mtn bike helmet. I'd prefer a ski helmet for warmth but it's not really necessary.

This on my equipment list for the new tourer I will build up this summer. Very excited about this project and some of the epic adventures on tap. I'm fascinated about doing Deadhorse to Ushuaia. Somwhere around 18,000 miles from above the arctic circle in Alaska to the southernmost city in the world in Argentina. I reckon it will take 2-2.5 years and a comfy saddle will be a must!!!!0 -

I wish I could join you!!! A comfy saddle (and handlebars/grips) will be a must! I recommend getting some clip-on aerobars so you can get your weight off your hands and for when fighting a headwind.

This is the latest thing I've gotten. I bought it since I got a pair of Bluetooth headphones and it's working out great on the trails. I read some reviews that complained that their phone was loose on it or that it fell off. I've hit some pretty good stuff so far and haven't had any issues.0 -
Picked up this baby today. Great helmet for training rides on the TT bike so I can have the integrated visor (works better than sunglasses for me in the aero position) without having to wear my full-on pointy TT helmet. I already have one just like it, only one size larger. Oddly enough, as part of my weight loss my head circumference shrunk enough that the old one is now too large. Huh. I guess I really was a fat head.
As an aside, this is the best-fitting and best-wearing helmet I own. It stays in place much better than my equally expensive Lazer Helium.

2 Sets of Tyres for the Cannondale CaadX
- a pair of Cross XN Pro's - File tread with edge knobblies, smooth dry conditions or mixed road / bridleway summer tyre - perfect for what I usually end up riding off-road through the summer.
- a pair of Cross XM Pro's - Knobbly (or what passes for it in cross-tyre terms) for Loose Terrain and Mud.
Coupled with my Existing Cross XG Pro's which are a sort of "mid-way between the two", I should have my offroad / mixed riding on the CaadX covered for the season now, and all for under £50 because Planet-X had a bit of a sale on!0 -

My only concern with using these are:
What if it starts to rain? Your phone will be effed.
What if you crash? Your phone will be effed.
I also personally NEVER listen to music while on the trails. It's just a distraction. When I did try it, I crashed twice in 30 minutes. IMO, if you need to listen to music while exercising, you're not doing it right.0
