Glorious Saturday morning to you all!

    Days 01 - 10 - 1020
    Days 11 - 20 - 1040
    Days 21 - 30 - 980
    Days 31 - 40 - 1040
    Days 41 - 50 - 1030 - Half way! 5,110 squats so far.

    Day 51 - 125 - squats
    Day 52 - 125

Barbie, the line dance party sounds fun. And sounds like you were a star!
MuffRuff & Jem-girl, you're both doing wonderfully. Keep it up.

As an sahm I wear a lot of shorts or jeans and T-shirts, wardrobe staples that I have worn my whole life. Some people really just put themselves together well, no matter what their weight or physical features. I've never felt very confident in that area -- I got the gift of gab, so at least I'm not lonely in my T-shirts! But...... You gals have to put up with a bunch of blather, as Jem would say. Hahaha... I crack myself up.

clover5, I also love wearing t-shirts and jeans, but I have been trying to wear comfortable clothes that are more appealing. However, I still wear my t-shirts, like I am right now. I agree with you on how many people know how to put their outfits together where they look great regardless of their physical features. Anyway, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Is anyone doing anything special for Memorial Day?

     Clover I had to use Google to find out what "sahm " means.........so now I learned something new. I am retired and am a sahm to two poodles and a cat and i wear jeans and turtlenecks and sweatshirts all the time and am always very comfortable. I own one dress and two pairs of slightly dressier pants to wear for special occasions. I am not a fashion plate, but I'm a good friend and a hard worker.

 we went to Home Depot today and bought a few plants and a paint sprayer to paint the fence and the deck....it has been another beautiful day and I spent most of the day outside rearranging rocks in the yard, walking dogs, and walking with a friend and then with my hubby.....I did my weight training in the middle of the afternoon with the air-conditioning on while it was extra warm outside.

 MuffRuff, we're working in our yard this weekend.and not going anywhere

I went to Home Depot on Friday, and bought several plants. I've put in about half of them, and hopefully will finish today, and get some weeding done. It's not that I bought so many. The problem is that I wait until dusk and then I think 'oh, I should go out and stick those plants in the dirt.' More than once I've bought plants and they died waiting to be planted. This year I got most of the dirt prepared first. No other real plans today. Just have to see how it unfolds.

 clover, we went to Home Depot on Saturday and DH wanted to buy plants so I reminded him that I was doing a rock arranging project and any plant he bought he'd be planting.....he limited himself and managed to get them all planted by noon today

I threw in an extra 25 while I brushed my teeth last night, and then did some calf raises to go with them.

Have to go to Pep Boys today. I've got a nail in one of my tires and need to get it fixed before it's flat.

Also did some standing calf raises and sitting calf raises while I brushed my teeth.

The hardest routine for me to break is the sit around and do nothing routine. And it's always tempting. I really need these challenges right now.

:flowerforyou: Clover, what gets me out of the chair is the desire to burn more calories so I can eat more food or the challenge of my pedometer because I set high goals for myself on the number of steps recorded....I'm doing a plank challenge and I sent you an invitation to the group.....it's a lot like this group (over 100 people in the group and fewer than five actually posting    )

I did my squats in front of the TV last night. And when I finished those, I continued with some calisthenics and mild weight lifting including my pec trio.

I got your invitation to the plank-a-day group Barbie. Thank you. Hate to whine, but I'm now posting on 3 challenges every day, including this one. So, I'm going to decline for now. We'll see when I finish my squats. You really do put a lot of steps on your pedometer. I post my steps in a challenge that restarts every month. It's in the fitness message threads. I think it's called June Daily Step Challenge. We have over a dozen who are posting their steps. It is a nice supportive group of all ages. Maybe not quite as chatty as we are  You might want to have a look.

    Here's June: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/610810-something-everyday-in-june?page=2#posts-8859212

And Here is the May: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/606312-may-daily-step-challenge?page=5#posts-8859490

May actually rolled over to a second thread.

I took the day off yesterday, and I realized I needed that day off. However, I made sure not to go over my set calories. I have still been doing my walking and some ddr. DDR can get so intense, but it is so much fun! I have noticed that once I started to exercise other positive changes followed as well. Anyway, it has been in the nineties where I live, but it has been raining the past couple of nights. This weather confuses me.

:flowerforyou: MuffRuff, I never take a day off because of my poodles who need to walk every day.....yes, I know, I could ask my husband to walk them but he doesn't take them on long walks like I do.....we have had rain here, too. but when it rain here in the coastal northwest, it gets cold so our temperatures have been in the 50's during the day and 40's at night

:flowerforyou: Clover, I understand about all the challenges......I joined your two challenges and we'll see if I've overdone it...besides the challenges I post on two threads (women ages 50+ and senior golden sneakers). I've been posting on those threads for over three years and the people on the threads have become my friends and I'd miss them if I stopped positing.
