At 34 weeks I've gained just about 20lbs. I was just 10lbs under being overweight, so I wanted to stick to the lower end of the weight recommendation. Looks like I'm just about on track to do that. I've been on limited physical activity and have been all around exhausted this ENTIRE pregnancy, so I'm pretty happy with that.

Well, I'm a bit relieve that my weight quit climbing so quickly! In the last week, I actually made it up to 233! I think some of it was water weight (and still have a little swelling) and maybe a little due to constipation. I started eating high fiber cereal in the morning, and that has helped a lot. Now if only I can maintain this weight until my next appointment in 10 days, I can still stay on the 1 lb per week track! (although I would prefer it to be .5 per week, but it's better than 2 or 3!)

We put together the crib and decorated the nursery last night!! Having the room put together really is making things come into perspective...like being at 38 weeks. I can't believe baby will be here so soon but I am beginning to feel okay about that now that he/she will have a room. Now I just need to finish painting the changing table (the weather has been rainy lately), finish the window trim and get some curtains up and the room is officially done! Thank the heavens.....

It's normal to slow down in 3rd Tri. The bulk of your weight gain is in 2nd Tri and beginning of 3rd Tri as baby is growing. It slows down in 3rd Tri as baby is going to be adding some fat more than actually growing organs and height as quickly as the other trimesters. Make sense? :flowerforyou:

Week23 1/2 weeks: 164.0 (+8.0 lbs) Down 1.4 pounds? Has to be related to stress and working out more again recovering from injuries

Dropped 1.4 pounds lbs this week from previous home scale weigh-in , it has to be stress related!!! Between being over stressed at my job and dealing with injuries, and just found out husband laid off, dealing with financial issues and other personal issues I am at MAX stress level. Apparently its causing me to lose weight even when I am not trying to!!!
Its not what I want for this baby I don't know how to de-stress myself .
I wish I could take a "babymoon" or a mini-vacation before the baby gets here but just not a possibility!

I'm in my third Tri and haven't really gained much either. My starting weight was 113lb at 5'4 height.
My weight gain has remained pretty consistent in the later portion of my 3rd tri:
    28 weeks: 128
    30 weeks: 129
    32 weeks: 128
    34 weeks: 130
    36 weeks: 129.6
    37w/2d (dr. appointment yesterday): 129.6

I was worried a little bit with my weight gain, and also the fact that my fundal measurement was measuring almost 2 weeks behind (which isn't really the best way to determine the growth of the baby). I had an ultrasound at 35w/4d and baby girl was weighing 5lb 3oz. I had another ultrasound yesterday at 37w/2d because the PA was a little concerned with my fundal height and wanted to see how the baby was growing. She's up to 6lb. 3oz - so gaining right on track with a .5lb gain per week, even though I haven't really gained, she's still gaining, which is good news! The rate she's going, she should weigh around 7lbs at 40 weeks, so that's right on track. So don't worry about not gaining during the last Tri - your baby should still be growing, even if you're not reflecting that on the scale.

Pre pregnancy weight at 4 weeks - 126
Current weight at almost 12- 127.2

This is pretty typical for my pregnancies! Kinda wondering when the weight will start coming on more ... with my first I packed it on super fast (1.5-2 lbs a week)and with my second I would go weeks without gaining and have a random growth spurt. (I ate a ton with my first baby and didn't exercise regularly, but I exercised 5x a week with my second and watched what I ate.) We shall see!

Prepregnancy weight: 125lbs and 5'5 tall

    1st Trimester: I finished out at 135
2nd Trimester: I just reached 6 months (24 weeks) and I'm weighing in at 141.8

( Yesterday I weighed in and had gained 5lbs in 4 days and almost cried. I weighed in at 146.8 at the exact same time as today; and today I weighed in at 141.8. Empty stomach both times. It was ALL water. Pregnancy is whacked)

    Hi Binky Muffin,
Yes I am also a major List maker and we definetly have a budget right now which is super tight!!! But this budget doesnt include the baby on the way and all those new expenses so huby basically has about 4 months to find something or not sure what what we are gonna do, but I just have to believe "When one door closes, another opens" and this may have been a blessing in disguise!
Thanks for taking the time to reply, sometimes helps to vent it out!

Ouch. I know I'm retaining some water again, as my feet and hands are swollen. But I traveled the last couple days, so we ate out a lot and I'm also (tmi) a bit constipated. So hoping to see that number drop the next couple days. We shall see! My next OB appt is on Tue morning, so am going to try to drink plenty of water and eat clean until then or my OB might be concerned at the gain! I was 227.6 at my last appointment, so 7 lbs is a bit much in between....

Started previous pregnancies around 145 and ended up around 190. It wasn't that I intentionally let go but the inky time I didn't feel like throwing up was when I ate. My first pregnancy I ate healthy at 1800-2000 calories. Next one not as much and I didn't track. Not sure if it is related to eating healthier but it was a lot easier to lose the weight the first time. This time I'm starting heavier but not as sick.

    Week 4. 160 lbs
    Week 10 161 lbs

    1st pregnancy
    Height: 5'6
    Pre-pregnancy goal weight: 120
At home scale: reading 120 - 121 in February (unknowingly pregnant) but I don't know how much I trust that compared to those in the doctors' offices.
March 26 - 8 weeks, 2 days: appointment with primary doctor to confirm pregnancy, weight = 123.0
    April 14 - 11 weeks: 1st routine OB appointment, weight = 123.8
April 19 - 11 weeks, 4 days: 1st ultrasound, weight = 121.0 (she didn't use the same digital scale this time so I don't buy this weight...)
    May 19 - 16 weeks: 2nd routine appointment, weight = 124.7
    June 16 - 20 weeks: 2nd ultrasound, weight = 128 (home scale, right before appt, read 126.6)
June 23 - 21 weeks: 131 (Yikes, a 3 pound gain!! baby girl must have had a growth spurt this week!!)
July 14 - 24 weeks: 3rd routine appointment, weight = 132.1 (home scale, right before appt, read 131.4)
    July 30 - 26 weeks, 2 days: 133.2, home scale
August 4 - 27 weeks: 137.2, home scale - after calorie intake was done for the day. 5 pounds in 3 weeks seems reasonable but 4 of it was in the last week.

Routine appointment (last monthly one) is next Monday so I'll have an official weight then.

2/3 of the way there, hello 3rd trimester!!!! Total gain, roughly, 17 pounds.
