I guess I was either retaining water or this journey is going to be kind of sporadic rather than one of steady gains. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what to expect. Anyway, I think with this week's weigh-in, I am now in line with the weight gain averages for this point of the pregnancy.2 -

You're doing awesome! I'm 28 weeks along too and up 13 pounds. Like you, I'm really struggling with the mental aspect of gaining weight (the weight itself seems to be piling on despite my best efforts!). Remember that we're doing it so we can have healthy, happy, chubby babies and that it's temporary. Besides, having lost weight before, we both will know how to do it again if need be!1 -

I started out about 8# overweight for my height and about 10 pounds heavier than I like to be, so I believe the "recommended" weight gain is 15-25#; however, I really wanted to keep it to the lower end of the range.0 -

Feeling super puffy the past few days. Rings not fitting well. Average calories/day was 1665 so I didn't go crazy eating!
Drinking at least a gallon of water per day, so I'm not sure there's much I can do. Will check BP at a pharmacy later today just in case!
I have a feeling baby will be here soon. My other 2 came during the 36th and 37th weeks, respectively.0 -

It seems like alot of women puff up when they get close, I wonder what the science is behind that, probably hormones changing or something.
