This website might help you out.
I am 31 weeks and have gained almost 12 lbs. But with my first pregnancy I gained 35 lbs total and gained around 10 lbs the first trimester. We are all different and each pregnancy we have is different. Best wishes!! Just keep eating healthy and exercising and your body will do what it needs to keep tu and your lil ones healthy :)

Thank you so much for the link! I've been looking for something like this for ages to keep track of how much is a healthy amount to put on week by week. So far I've put on 10 lb and I'm currently 19 weeks (which is supposed to be a normal amount according to the calculator). This is my second pregnancy and I'm really worried about not putting on so much this time around. I put on about 50 lb in my last pregnancy and I struggled to lose it afterwards. I am also worried about losing the weight afterwards as I really want to be able to breastfeed baby no. 2 (I tried and failed so breastfeed baby no. 1 so I was able to diet and not have to worry about how it would affect milk production).

Does anyone have any helpful tips to losing weight while breastfeeding?

    Week 30: 129 (+14)
    Week 31: 129 (+14)
    Week 32: 129 (+14, cumulative)

Is it normal to stall out like this? I've started swelling some and have been trying to watch my sodium and sugar intake and drink lots of water. The result is that on swollen days I'm up a pound or two but other days I seem to keep hovering right around 129. I just hope baby is growing well!

    Week 21: 162.0 (2.6/8.2)
    Week 22: 161.4 (-.6/7.6)

I was pretty swelled from sodium early last week (pickles plus Chinese food... whoops) so I'm not surprised to see it go down slightly this week. That means over 2 weeks it averaged to a pound a week which works for me!

I have a quick question when did your pants get tighter during your first pregnancy? Some days I have bloat and it becomes tighter but 5 out of 7 days my pants are still loose on me and I'm 20 weeks.

First pregnancy I switched to proper pregnant work trousers (so no stretch) at about 20 weeks. But I had lost weight in the run up to falling pregnant so my normal trousers were quite loose to begin with. I certainly showed before then.

This time more like 16 or 17 weeks. It's true you show sooner with your second!

With my DD, I started at 114.6 and ended up at 133.6 (19 lbs). I have had a hard time not only getting pregnant but keeping babies, so we will see if this one sticks.

    Week 22: 6/29: 185.4 (+4.2, + 16.4)

This is a bit higher than I'd like but I've also noticed I'm retaining water like no one's business starting at 21 weeks. My feet are super puffy by midday and don't really de-swell after a good night's sleep. I know I'm drinking enough water so I guess this is just how my body is handling pregnancy. I'm on restricted activity at least until at least August 9 so slowly waddling around is the most I can do.

Loved seeing everyone's new baby pictures - makes me so excited to meet my little one in a few months!

@teeny145 sending good thoughts your way for you and baby right now.

@artgalchitown you may want to talk to your doctor about the swelling since it doesn't dissipate over night. It is summer but they may be able to help!

My weight has been only small gain but I'm definitely getting bigger, everythings getting too tight to wear. My lower belly bloat is so much now.

At night i feel so hungry but then go to eat and i feel over-full/sick with less than i'd normally eat, but I'm basically eating 2 lunches and nothing. Just weird.

Hey ladies! I really did plan to be more active around here, but unfortunately my updates are done! On 6/16 I was in a car accident that lead to emergency surgery for me and resulted in an unplanned c-section. Our little guy was born at 29w6d but is really holding his own in the NICU and I'm on the slow mend. I know the weight can be all consuming when you watch the number on the scale go up every.single.day. BUT, I can promise you, none of it will matter once you have your little one in your arms and you know you'll get back to where you need to be! Best of luck to all of you beautiful Mommas!

Oh my goodness, I am glad you are on the mend and the little guy is hanging in there! I am sorry you are having to go through this, but it sounds like given the circumstances things are going as well as they can. Will be thinking of you and your little one! Get well <3

Oh my gosh - I'm so sorry that happened! Congrats on your son, and I hope he gets well enough to be removed from the NICU soon! Good luck in your recovery, I can't even imagine.
