This week I have been ravenous so trying to just eat and snack healthy as much as possible! And obviously keeping myself well hydrated.0 -
@artgalchitown As far as protein goes, I'm pescatarian so I'm accustomed to finding non-meat protein sources! Fish and seafood (within moderation and avoiding mercury), tempeh, eggs, nuts (within reason), lentils, quinoa, peas, and yogurt come to the top of my mind. I'm not a huge fan of tofu, but there's that, too. Good luck!0

Good grief. I don't know what's happening. I'm definitely retaining water so maybe that's part of the big gain this week. Also was on vacation over the weekend. I thought I ate pretty healthy but I guess I have room for improvement.
@marianlyn thanks for the tips!1 -
I had my ultrasound this week. My baby is in the 43rd percentile and I have very low levels of amniotic fluid.0

@karen_thinmint thanks for your concern. I was worried when I first got pregnant how I was going to handle weight gain since I've always been small. Little did I know how difficult it would be to gain weight and eat. My mom and sister were same way.0
-
@wantoldme are you drinking enough? Had a girlfriend thatwas dehydrated post vacation and had pretty low amniotic fluid levels when she got back she made sure to rehydrate well and it was fine a week or two later.
As for the 43rd percentile, thats a little below average, but if smaller babies run in your family not sure I would worry that much.1 -
@wantoldme hope you and baby are doing well. @4legsRbetterthan2 advice sounds really good!

Feels like I'm growing a bowling ball this week - baby all of a sudden feels very big and heavy and he keeps getting stuck under my ribs which has been really painful especially while sitting or driving for long periods! Have tried to reign it in this week food wise. I've mostly been keeping to my daily calorie total but not always with best food choices. Determined to do better this week and drink more water!0 -

Not 100% sure what I weigh today because I was up all night with cramping and forgot to weigh in, but this is an average from the past week. I really hope this is my last update before baby because I am DONE. This definitely-not-labor-but-still-painful stuff is for the birds.
Sorry to be negative. I'm running on no sleep and at work instead of having a baby, and I'm just very, very tired. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to make sure everything's still good, and I guess we'll take it from there.0 -

I don't know why, but I had this notion in my head that I didn't want to surpass 200 lbs. That is clearly not going to be the case. Mentally trying to adjust and just focus on making sure baby is healthy. So much kicking lately! My feet and ankles are suuuuuuper swollen. Any tips on how to alleviate that? I try to elevate when I get home from work, and I just ordered some Epsom salts to do foot soaks.
@wantoldme I hope you and baby are ok - sending good vibes your way.
@jennifergmcnamee hope the ultrasound went well - baby will be here in no time, I'm sure of it! You are so close now!0 -

Trying to mostly maintain till the end since I am already over my 20 lb goal, but seems like I am fighting a losing battle against swelling these days. Hopefully can keep it under 25, but I guess it is what it is. Have another ultrasound next week since they were worried about little guy's size at the 32 week one. I think I am more tired of doctors appointments than anything at this point.0 -

Whew, big week jump this week, but I have been pretty hungry the past week so I'm not surprised at all. Hoping next week it isn't as bad, but we are going away this weekend to San Francisco with family so I guess we'll see. I also injured my foot 3 weeks away and have been not moving as much as it is so painful to walk on. It's FINALLY starting to get better, so hopefully being more active will help that too.
@wantoldme I hope everything is okay. I also heard upping your water intake can help for amniotic fluid. And 46% to me seems right in the middle, is that not good? Maybe I just don't understand, but I feel like that means about half measured are bigger and half smaller?0 -
Thank you @artgalchitown and @RAxB I am good. I was wrong baby is in the 40th percentile. I heard it incorrectly when they left the voicemail but when I spoke to the doctor she said baby is in 40th percentile.
I'm just trying to eat and drink more which is hard because I get full so fast.0 -

This whole tracking thing is helpful (sometimes!!), I had put on too much weight in the 1st tri and was worried would gain way over my recommended by the end, but can see that things are slowing down/plateauing off which is great! Only 2.6lbs in 5 so back to a steady 1/2 lbs per week. Obviously will have weeks with bigger gains here and there, but nice to feel make in control, especially when it's come from more healthy eating and less ice cream!
@4legsRbetterthan2 good luck with the scan! You have done so well with keeping your weight in check so I'm sure your little man's size is all genetics as you say0 -
I'm just trying to eat and drink more which is hard because I get full so fast.
It can be tough since the kiddo starts taking up your whole abdomen!. Make sure you eat lots of calorie dense foods (nuts, nut butters, full fat dairy, feel free to be a little more free with oils and butter in your cooking). Try to stay away from "diet" foods if you aren't hitting your calories needs.0 -

I was still in weightless mode for a majority of the time before I realized I was pregnant and switched to maintenance at 4 weeks. This week has been tough with eating right, I can't stand the sight of some food. I'm still managing to get decent macros though.0 -
Guys! I had a baby! Meet Eva Grace, born 8/23 at 8:34 pm after a 28 hour labor. She was a tiny thing at 6 lb, 8 oz. I got pumped so full of fluid at the hospital that I haven't lost any weight at all yet, but I already feel much more myself and am just enjoying having a more manageable body again. Here's a picture! (Sorry if it's huge.
I don't know how to format.)

I picked up a cold on vacation last week and felt terrible all week. I thought I was still eating plenty and logging it all, but maybe need to step it up? She seems to crowd the top of my uterus which then crowds my stomach and even with small meals I feel full all day long and until it empties I truly cannot eat anything else.0
