Sorry I'm a little behind on the milage. Went out and dug up some clams the last couple of days. Here is my list so far
Sunday : 2.5 miles
Monday: 0
Tuesday: 0
Wednesday: 1 miles
I"ll try to make it up the next couple of days
Thursday: 1.3 miles... Mostly walking. I've got wicked shin splints. Probably will just ride my bike all weekend :grumble:
Friday: 2.5 miles Hiking
Say: 1.0 Miles walking
Total: 8.3 ? So close to my 10 miles goal. Next week!0 -

I had a good first week on the challenge. I forgot to put my fitbit on, on Sunday. I still met my goals though.
Steps: 78,417 / 70,000
Miles 35.12 / 35.
This challenge definitely made me work a little harder to exceed the 35 miles. Ready for week 2... x0 -
Hello.
I'm a new member and my name is Zara. Today I jogged my first 5k :-) I try to walk 35 miles per week. I have a fitbit and aim for 70,000 steps + per week. (Approx 35 miles) I work, so I have to get up at 5am to get steps in as my job is very sedentary. I walk, jog, do zumba etc anything to get steps in. I'm joining the gym this week too. Very exciting. Liking this group and what it aims to support each other with. Let's having a rocking week!

I also use an armband - I use Body Media and it does very well at logging my steps. I also try to get in Zumba at least 3 times a week. Welcome.

I hear great things about the body media, glad it works well for you. I may get back into Zumba again, i used to do it most days and then got into jogging and it kind of fell to the side... Might give it a whirl at my new gym! x0 -

Sunday - goal =2 miles at a nice, slow pace - actually jogged 1 mile, will make up the other mile this week
Monday - unscheduled walk - 1.55 miles Yesterday's mile made up!
Tuesday - goal = 2 miles run mostly - actually ran 1.6
Wednesday - unscheduled walk - 2.05 miles
Thursday - goal = 2.5 miles run mostly - wasn't feeling well, no miles today
Friday - unscheduled walk on treadmill (still HOT here!) - 2.1 miles
Saturday - goal = 3 miles run -actually did a run/walk on the treadmill, too hot outside! 1.38 miles
TOTAL = 9.65 miles
:grumble: I didn't check my miles before I worked out - .35 miles short! :grumble: I WILL make it up next week!
