Ben and Jerry's Clusterfluff Icecream. 100gm = 320 cal. That whole tub is 1500 cal. It is very hard to resist it's charms.
Also any alcoholic drink you care to name. 4 beers. 520 cal.

Pizza - like Dominos Meat Lovers - 1 pizza is around 1800 cal - that's a whole days worth!!!
  • I have been living in the US for years now, and I really should not have read all of these posts as I am craving all of the foods I have not had in years... dim Sims I miss the most, but also Tim tams and mintiies and real crumpets.... oh I must stop.

Garlic bread.. I nearly died when I read just how much was in it... I knew it would be up there.. But really

I was thinking it was 'ok' too, until I read the calories. And you can't really heat up a 'serve.' So no more garlic bread unless I am out or have someone to share it with. One stick is almost a full days calories :(

What I do for garlic bread now is I buy a big bag of the tiny dinner rolls from Woolworths (the really small ones) and I make my own individual serves of garlic bread. I make them up and wrap in foil and freeze. I know exactly how many cals are in each one because I control the amount of butter etc that goes in and they are individual serves. I can ask who wants garlic bread and who doesn't and only toss in the number of rolls that will be eaten so I am not tempted by leftovers. Give it a try :)

HAH! I've been living in Australia for years but I'm American. I would trade you all that stuff fror proper Jimmy Dean sausage, root beer that hasn't been sitting on a boat for 8 weeks, and Jif peanut butter.
  • I am totally laughing at your post. How funny it is that we take for granted what we now can not have. And funny enough I have never had a jimmy dean sausage. I am with you though, I do love jiff peanut butter.

Bread, anything yummy from brumbys or bakers delight.
You know the ones, ham and chees toppings, walnuts and icing, pullaparts
    Sigh.....

    Ditto!

And those rice snack things, multi coloured, sometimes wrapped in seaweed.

    Srsly? Oh my!
  • Boost low-fat smoothies - used to be a regular 'grab' between meetings around town. 450cal!!! (Banana Buzz - my favourite). Low-fat yoghurt, all that fruit - got to be good....

That's more calories than a McDonalds double-cheeseburger, more than a vanilla thick-shake even.

Yep, seriously. One Naan has like 300 cals. Sometimes one isn't 'enough' either. :-/

Muffins. I got a blueberry muffin once thinking it would be better than the chocolate one, and the damn thing was 870 calories.

Also the entire Mad Mex menu is positively evil.

    Lindt milk chocolate Easter Bunny.

    Over 500 cals.

What's worse, I didn't really enjoy it because I scoffed it rather than tasted it!!

Peanut butter, I know it has good in it but I am a PB pig. at 230 something calories for a couple of spoons, yeah I've had to go cold turkey.

I went stupid over Easter, feel disgusting. Bloody all you can eat buffet with a chocolate fountain *shakes fist*. I also stocked up on Monday with the discounted eggs so I have so much chocolate at home that calls to me every night 'Maaaaaaaaaaaanda... you know you want me'.
  • My toasted cheese and ham :/
LOTS of real butter on both sides of thick cut bread, pan fried WITH oil, thick sliced leg ham and a lot of cheese.
Served usually with my equally ridiculous pumpkin soup complete with cream AND sour cream and not the low fat variety.
Kinda surprised I didnt have a heart attack to be honest when I finally got around to adding that up.

LOL I sympathise!! My family have a birthday coming up and its straight off to the local buffet restaurant, not the cheap one either. So I will be sitting there eating salad and paying $30 for the privilege.
What is that they say about you go for the company not the food... *groans*

Who goes to the buffet for the company alone lol!

Food Fantasy Buffet at Jupiters Casino on the Goldie is to die for. So much seafood, especially being Good Friday. The choc fountain was my undoing, does it count I was using strawberries to dip? I felt so disgusting after I was wishing that I'd throw up.

Stupid Easter Eggs got the better of me last night grrr. I as doing so well yesterday too.

hence why I refuse to keep chocolate in the house any longer. I went on a trip back to Sydney (living in Tokyo at the moment) and brought back with my 2 packs of timtams. For days they were screaming for me to eat them... finally gave in! Only have a max of 3 in one day which is a massive achievement for me, I could easily polish off a packet of them!
