My first goal is to Figure out why I am not loosing. I have gone up and down up the same 2- 3 pounds for about 4 months. I am trying to not get discouraged but it is getting harder. So my first attempt at fixing this for the new year is to et my BMR of 1600, what I am unsure of is my exercise calories to eat some of them or not when I earn them. Happy New Year.0

I've just joined this group because 52 pounds is almost exactly my goal for weight loss. A friend used MFP to lose 50 pounds and I'm inspired by her success. My goals for this year (which were my New Year's resolutions): Lose 52 pounds in 2013; drink my eight glasses of water a day; log everything I eat and drink; eat smaller portions and healthier choices (not cakes or candies); exercise at least one hour a day at least four days a week (walking); get my blood pressure down; talk less and work more! Good luck everyone!!!0

My first goal is to get back to eating properly and staying within my caloric budget. I work in Customer Service Center in a large grocery store so while I'm not out walking miles on end I am fairly active for 4 - 8 hrs daily. I want to incorporate a 2 - 3 mile walk 2 - 3 times per week and if my schedule is right I can do that. I need to lose 10# to be within the healthy range for my age, height, gender and I know I can do it with God's help - if I let Him help me.
My belief is: Philippians 4:13 King James Version (KJV)
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.0 -

5. Exercise at least 5 days a week (walking is on hold until Jan 7th per doctor's orders...ankle has to heal) Will work upper body

Hi I'm Margaret. My goal for 2013 is 72 lbs, starting at 266 as of my last weigh in, this will take me under 200 lbs for the first time since middle school. (20 yrs) I will run my first 5k this year. I will become healthier and more fit, and be able to play with my children more. For today, my goals are simply to stay under my calories and be as active as I can, no work out as the Y is closed today for the holiday. Good luck to you all.0
-
1. To lose 40+ pounds this year.
2. To be able to reach my toes without bending my knees.
3. To be able to continue implementing an exercise routine. This time, when the classes begin, make time for it.
4. Be happy.0 -
Happy New Year! My primary goal is be the best me I can be. This means watching what I eat and being more active. Specifically, I want to cut out many grains, lessen my intake of sugar, avoid consuming a lot of processed foods, and working out at least 30 minutes a day/5 days a week. Hopefully those efforts will help me lose 52 pounds...maybe more! Best of luck to everyone! Together we can reach, and exceed, our goals! (Feel free to add me!)0

My ultimate goal is to be 140-150 pounds. Right now Im 198. I want to be healthy also, not just thin. I dont want food to have a hold over me like it currently does.
But, taking this one day at a time, my goal for today is to get to bed and be happy about my food intake for the day. And not be starving!!!0 -
My goal this year is to feel better. I have been waking up with a pain in my hip and in my heel for a few weeks now. I will be forty in six months. I do not want the aches and pains to be a part of my life until they really have to. I need to lose weight..it is no longer just a want it is now a very necessary need. At this point a number is not that important to me. I just need to start actively doing something to achieve my goal.0
-
Today my goal is to get to the gym first before everything happens like grocery shopping house cleaning etc. Me first!!!0
-
I am making smaller goals this year. I would like to lose about 5 lbs in January. I am also not eating sweets currently. That helps me lose faster and I feel so great without sweets!
My major goal for 2013 is to be CONSISTENT!! I will not let myself down this year. Slow and steady...0 -
My goal for 2013 is to take care of myself.
1-This means eating healthy, eliminating the foods I'm allergic to while focusing on eating more fruits and veggies.
2- making time to get exercise everyday and enjoying / being proud of what I can do! Focus on the future not the past
3-I really really really want to finally get to my goal weight---32 lbs to go0 -
Log faithfully.
Go to the gym a minimum of 3 times per week.
Walk / Run 30 miles per week. Working my way to 50 miles per week.
To just lose and keep it off.0 -
Well, to start, my goals will be to log everything I eat, and to exercise 3 times a week, including at least 2 weight-training sessions. While I gained nearly 5 pounds over Christmas, on the positive side, I've so overdone the sweets thing that none of it is appealing to me at all right now!0
-
My goal is to continue to learn how to eat responsibly and workout with Bob and Jillian 1-2 times a day at least 5-6 days a week.0
-
My goal for 2013 is to get healthier in every aspect of my life, not just losing weight. I want keep a healthier home life, a cleaner, more organized house. I just want to be a happier and more successful person than I was in 2012.0

I probably can answer this better after I talk with my doctor but I believe I will be going lower carb starting soon.0
