Attention posters
I think we're caught up to this point with exception of pic reposts. If we've missed anyone up until now, please reply here and include what page your original post is on. Thanks.0 -
Kind of nervous about this but oh well. I'm 5'2", 25 years old, and 120 pounds (ish)

It's a bummer because I swear these pictures are making my legs look way flabbier than they are. They're pretty solid - no jiggle when I walk or anything, haha. I'm an avid expert level backcountry snowboarder - so they're pretty solid.0

ok I am 5-10 172# 33 male..
this one is non flexed
flexed
We'd put you right in the 13% range, possibly between 12-13%.
thanks! That is about where I was thinking...about three months ago I was 15-17% so I am making progress...!0 -
Thanks so much! I also forgot - I'm 5'3 and 120 pounds.
17-18%.
Note to others: we are still discussing the ones we've skipped.
Thanks so much!! I'm very surprised at that number (in a good way) - this is despite the butt and thighs? I had prepared myself for around 22-24.
No fckn way are you over 20. You have ab definition, your legs aren't nearly as fat as you think as I can see quad development very readily. You do carry more of it on your lower half but taking it all into consideration I think the estimate is reasonable.
Wow, this really made my day. Thank you! My old Omron scale recently me at 29.8% while my new Precision EatSmart says 19.9%, which is why I thought anywhere from 22-24. Thanks again!
I used one of those a couple of months ago (about the same time my more recent pics were taken) and it put me at 29.something. Extrapolating from hydrostatic tests and eyeballing - I was probably 21%, give or take, and you are leaner than me by a few percentages points.
Huh ... the Omrons are consistently terrible! I still am in a state of amazement. Decided to let this body eat a bit more today to celebrate!0 -
5'5 132 lbs arm is flexed
Can you post pics that are in better lighting and that show a straight on view (one flexed, with arms up, and one unflexed with arms down) and a lateral view (unflexed) where you are standing more upright as the angles and the lighting make it too hard to assess with any accuracy.
my webcam is pretty crappy. i'll work on getting new ones tonight!0 -
Pretty embarrassed but here goes....
I am 5'6" 148-150 lbs 23 yrs old very not flexed here i thought it would be better to be relaxed but maybe i shouldve taken some flexed. Idk if this helps but my measurements are full bust: 38 waist: 29 hips: 39-40 thigh at fullest point: 23
anyway...
28 to 30%. Since these are both relaxed, you are welcome to post a flexed pic if you'd like, that might bring the estimate closer to 28 than 30 but this is sort of a ballpark range.
EDIT: After looking again, I don't think you're 30. You're likely somewhere in the upper 20's with 28 being a reasonable assessment.
EDIT2: Pics removed per poster request.
I took you up on your offer to post more flexed pics, although I don't think your original estimate is off, but just for the sake of thoroughness here goes...
THANK YOU AGAIN!0 -
Obviously I couldn't manage to get a good back pic on my own, oops!0
-
Your assessment is reasonable. We'd put you closer to 20 than 18 but I don't think your assessment is out of line.
Thanks. My Taylor scale says 20% and most online calculators put me around 17 (but I think those are thrown off by the fact I am an extreme hourgrlass so I have a very small waist).1 -
Obviously I couldn't manage to get a good back pic on my own, oops!
As much as I don't want to be a big pain in the *kitten*, the issue now is that the lighting difference between the new and old pics is substantial. Suffice it to say that given the new pics you look considerably leaner, part of this is due to flexing (as expected) but part of this is due to lighting difference between pics.
I will say that you're definitely not 30%, could possibly still be 28%, could be somewhere in the mid 20's, but this lighting won't allow us to get very close.
And I'm being particular about this for accuracy sake
Also, if you would like the pics removed again, click "Edit" on your post and remove the links. If this doesn't work, PM me or flag the post and I'll take care of it.0 -
I'm just double checking to make sure that you can see my photos (on the previous page) I'm new to the photo posting thing...but feel free to take your time getting back to me! I know you guys are super busy. Thank you for doing this!0

OK, I always have this problem, where is the edit button? The only options I see are "Report Post" "Quote" and "Reply"0

^ Might be a unique feature to this group, I'll remove the pics.0

Testing the edit function...
edit: Yep - it's there, right next to the quote/reply buttons. I believe you only have a certain amount of time - 2hrs? - to edit your posts before they become "locked" by MFP.0 -
