I had a very good Eid Holidays last two weeks and I got some gain (Very little 0.3 lbs)

Good news is we had a little better turn out this week. The bad news is that, Holy Smoke, most of us had a bad week in the gain department.
I have absolutely no doubt that there will be some changes this next week and some much better numbers for next week's chart.
lacroyx, fantastic job on coming in #1 this week. You have already done so much in your journey and I know you will break that 300 here in the near future. I personally feel the beginning of December might be a little ambitious but just push yourself and pay attention to the little details.
I had a small .2 loss this week. Was expecting a little more but I'll take it.
I find it is easier for me to commit a extra time to exercise during the colder, darker months than in the summer. The downside is we are now approaching our holiday season and more birthdays so the food will be flowing again. It is not really the meals that get me but the snacking. I have got to get a handle on that.

Good morning men.
Well, we didn't have quite as bad a week as last week but we still need to focus and turn this around. I realize for many of us, this is the beginning of the holiday season and we will face some challenges. I firmly believe holidays are a time of celebration or remembrance and it is ok to enjoy this time with our family and friends. Otherwise what is the point of the holiday. Just try to keep things in moderation and put in just a little bit extra work when you are able to exercise.

We had a fairly unimpressive week. Congratulations to Whorehey, his was the only loss this week. Trelm, dbw and shabbar were able to maintain and I unfortunately put a little weight back on.
I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday and that you are surrounded by family and friends.

You guys mind if I join the group again? Still remember some of the names since I left.
I had worked my way down into the 245 lb range. Health issues, stress and general lack of will power caused me to slip. My new current weight is 273 lb. I'm a bit irritated with myself. During Thanksgiving dinner I was mad because I am so fat. Can't believe I have let myself lose so much ground.
Started back on the elliptical yesterday and have managed 20 minutes at 6mph but I am completely out or breath when I am done. Plan on mowing grass after my infusion is completed today so I can get a little more burn.
I set my weight loss goal at 1.5 lb per week which for me is a little over 1900 calories per day.0 -

I would like to become active again, as well. I left the group at about 183.8 lbs--I was down from 210lbs in large part due to the support from this group and the accountability it provides. Now I am back up to 193.8 lbs. I haven't been using MFP for a few months, but now I'm back in the game.

A big welcome back to Taco and cnweiss. Good to see you back and looking forward to getting back on track with you. Trelm did a fantastic job at not gaining anything during this holiday and lacroyx blew us all away with a huge 4 pound loss. You are so close to that 300 pound mark, Congratulations!!!
I did invite one new person to join our group so here's hoping he stops in and checks us out.
I waaaay over did everything and packed on an additional 5.4 pounds. I have not been exercising except for some racquetball once a week and I've been eating anything I want and I haven't been drinking a third of the water I should be drinking. I will be getting back into a bit more exercise and trying to watch what I eat a little better.

I don't know if anyone else disklikes the MFP interface for entering strength training. I sure do.
I stumbled upon a website that I prefer that gives pretty fun feedback and encouragement. Certainly not a replacement for MFP as you cannot log nutrition and it doesn't give you calories burned, but a fun site for tracking your fitness.
The website features things like "achievements" and "quests" and issues points for workouts so you can progress through different levels. They website also has a paid "heroes" version, but is very functional without parting with that extra cash.
Anyway, it's called Fitocracy.com
