    Am planning to start today. Bought a pedometer and already started doing the 3min walking video in between work. Am planning to start with the 2 mile walk today evening. Looking forward to working out with you all

    What sort of pedometer do you have? Just a step counter or a Fitbit?

    It is just a step counter. I am planning to Leslie Sansone DVD's and increase general walking to do 10000 steps a day.

    Goal for January 40 miles

    Glad ur here!! Awesome on pedometer just don't wear it during ur wo with leslies videos because you won't get a true reading.

    3 miles: Walk Your Belly Flat. First time doing this one. Loved it being 3 continuous miles. Christmas gift and happy with it!

    Goal for January: 50

    So far: 49 Leslie miles

    Sunday: 2 outdoors

    Total outdoor miles so far: 10

    Wow! Great to see everyone sticking with (and achieving!) their January goals. This group has been such a motivator for me.

    I had a three-day weekend for MLK day, and it shows in my walking - did not get in a Sansone walk on either Saturday or Sunday, so today with the day off, I walked all five miles of the 5 Day Slim Down! I'm on target to meet my goal, but will be away at a conference the rest of this week, so hoping I'll have some time to walk. I found a Sansone walk on YouTube and loaded it on my iPad, and I packed my workout clothes, so I'm hoping to keep moving!

    Completed my revised target of 50 miles today, will see if I can get to 75 by the end of Jan (although that may be pushing it)

    Hi Everybody,
    I have walked 1 mile everyday this month. That's 22 miles!!!!! I am amazed at myself. I can recall when I could not even do a mile, and now I have done 22. I have been battling upper resp infection the last few days, so I had to do my daily mile in segments, but I did it. It is so true that the greatest journey begins with the first step (paraphrasing the famous saying).
