WOO HOO! Congrats all!! I am sliding in at almost the 11th hour with +.5 miles! LOl So proud of everyone in this group - every mile a victory!! We are doing it again in Feb - RIGHT?? I will get the thread started tomorrow at the latest.

Yay! I finished up a few days early!! But I am still gonna continue my walking and Leslie walks and record them here. They look nice on paper so to speak and help to keep me motivated

Hi everyone! Although I purchased a LS video over a year ago (Walk Away Your Waistline), yesterday was the first time I actually put it in the player. I just did the 1-mile, but a few hours later, I could feel the soreness in the backs of my thighs. (And am still a bit sore today!) I hope to do a bit more this week and be ready to join the challenge in February with a modest goal of 28 miles. I am EXTREMELY out of shape, so this will be a real test for me. Looking forward to joining everyone soon!

I also aim for running 60 miles, so far I've ran 54.5 miles, 4.5 left and I think I will run them tomorrow.

A bit more than a year ago I was a :smokin: and most of the time I was feeling:sick: . My mood was :grumble: and sometimes:sad: and I was always :yawn:
Since then I quit :smokin: and started working out :drinker: and now I'm always like:bigsmile: :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

This is the 30th of January, and I have done 1 mile every day! 30 miles so far!!! woo hoo!!! I think this is great, especially for a formerly sedentary, overweight woman who turned 50 this month!!
I am using walk away the pounds for abs, and I cannot believe that I have done this. I have one more mile to do for the month, and I will have met my goal (31 miles).
I plan to up my miles for February, and also add some strength training as well. Any suggestions for other leslie dvds and strength training sources (dvds, youtube, etc)? My schedule is such that going to classes during the week is really not an option currently, so I am sticking with dvds for now.

I would love to join this group of walkers. I love the Leslie Sansone walking dvd. I have a few of them. 1 question. I got a tredmill for christmas , if I walk on that does it count? faitheven, any exercise mile counts, whether outdoors or indoors... using a DVD, or walked and ran otherwise. Start counting 'em and logging them. Happy that you are going to join in. What an awesome Christmas gift you received
