    Congratulations to each and every one of us for all of the miles walked in January. This was the most awesome group ever and I thank you for joining me each month in this challenge!

    It really keeps me motivated and I think we all agree that Leslie keeps us plugging in that DVD or VHS or YOUTUBE every day.. I am so thankful for her and all my friends and walkers here on MFP.

    Are we ready to do it again in February?? Will get it started now! LET's DO THIS!

    January second-half of the month, I made the goal to walk 30 miles and joined this group.

    As of today 1/31/13...30 MILES DONE.

    Now time to go watch my new Leslie DVD I just ordered!

    This is the 30th of January, and I have done 1 mile every day! 30 miles so far!!! woo hoo!!! I think this is great, especially for a formerly sedentary, overweight woman who turned 50 this month!!

    I am using walk away the pounds for abs, and I cannot believe that I have done this. I have one more mile to do for the month, and I will have met my goal (31 miles).

    I plan to up my miles for February, and also add some strength training as well. Any suggestions for other leslie dvds and strength training sources (dvds, youtube, etc)? My schedule is such that going to classes during the week is really not an option currently, so I am sticking with dvds for now.

    Thanks all. You guys are inspiring. I really appreciate each and every one of you, and I am glad to be part of this challenge.

    I'm so proud of you. We both hit our goal for the month. I'm with you...let's up it for February!! We both have goals to reach:flowerforyou: :drinker:

    Thursday:

    4.75miles: outdoors miles ( Walked outside 1 1/2 hours. First I walked by self and then later my neighbor joined so I kept going. I checked the mileage and I walked 4.75 miles total:noway: No wonder my legs are tired :smile: . Walking outdoors seems to work my muscles differently as compared to using the DVDs.)

    Goal for January: 65 combined miles

    So far: 56 Leslie miles

    So far: 30.75 outdoor miles

    Final tally for January: 86.75 combined miles

    Thanks to everyone for walking together during January. I am so very proud of each of us. I am honored and blessed to be a part of this group and to be walking with you all :heart: .
